Memory Box Single Daisy Stem Card…

Happy Friday everyone! A CAS die cut card to share today. Our area stamp club meets this afternoon and I have the program. This is one of the two cards I’ll have them make.

The Single Stem Daisy comes with a backer die for the flower. I die cut it in TE Lollipop cardstock, put the cut into the full flower die and embossed it with a stylus.

Then I inked the flower head with TE Strawberry Milkshake ink and a little make up brush.

I die cut the complete flower in TE Granny Smith cardstock and inked it with TE Granny Smith ink and a little make up brush.

I glued the layers together. You might want to clip off some of the green flower bottom layer if it shows.

I popped up the flower head with mounting foam tape just in the center.

I stamped the panel with a sentiment from a poppystamps sentiment set, links below.

A little Tumbled Glass Distress Oxide ink on the background panel. Some jute and it’s done…A2 size!

I changed the wrap up this time and wrapped an A2 size stitched panel die cut in TE Toffee cardstock. Then I just made the bow separate and glued it on the stem. I used mounting tape to adhere the white panel to the Toffee panel because of the jute. I didn’t want a hump! 😀

Simon Says Stamp Release, Hoppy Easter Gnome Card…

Hi cardmakers and friends! I had fun this week stamping up this cute bunny gnome from the NEW Simon Says Stamp ‘Lucky to Know You’ release!

SSS graciously sent me their new Spring Gnome stamp set to play with. I decided to stamp it a dozen times and cut out pieces to color and piece together to get that fun layered look. I love how it turned out!

So cute! I colored all the pieces with Copic Sketch Markers… BG70’s for the clothes, light W’s for the hair, E90’s for the bunny ears, YG 90’s for the hat and ugh, I can’t remember what pinks I used in the ears! The nose is regular skin colors.

I used the chisel end of the marker to make the lines on the clothes.

The sentiments are from the same set, inked with versamark and heat embossed with Lawn Fawn White embossing powder.

I used the SSS Stitched Rectangles set to cut the kraft color panel. Bunny is popped up on the panel with the thin mounting squares. I used thin mounting squares to raise all the pieces also.

So fun! I love this set! Two other super cute gnomes in the set and 3 more sentiments!

A branch die cut three times and trimmed to fit the scene completed the card. I used a disc. die but I’m linking up some others below that would work fun with this stamp set!

This is an A2 size card.

Reverse Confetti… January Release Blog Hop!

I’m going to start with the cute card of the two I made for today’s post. hehe This cutie critter is all about showing us how to cut and paste! I love it so much!

I used the NEW Crafty Critters stamp set and Confetti Cuts set for this one. Besides this cute monkey, there’s the bunny and a zebra, all crafters!

This monkey’s got personality + for sure! So busy cutting paper hearts and gluing up a card! I stamped and colored with Copics… E40’s, BG10’s, R24 and 29.

There’s the NEW Scallop Cover Panel Confetti Cut in the background. The Scallop Frame is an older Confetti Cut die set called Love Note.

Up next is the Butterfly Wreath stamp set and Confetti Cuts set…

I had fun with this one… I stamped and gold heat embossed it on textured watercolor paper and painted it in with water and Distress Inks. It’s bright! lol I spattered with the leftover paint on my tonic craft mat too.

I randomly stamped the branch with old paper Distress ink on the cardbase. Heat embossed the sentiment from the set on vellum. Stamped and heat embossed the two butterflies from the set and adhered them with a little Tombow Mono Multi liquid glue after I adhered the wreath to the cardbase with mounting tape.

Both of my cards are A2 size.

Memory Box Daisy Flower Frame Birthday Card…

Hi everyone! There’s just something about a daisy that makes a gal happy! I kept this simple but the black and bits of color make it so sweet!

I die cut the frame three times and glued them together.

I embossed a white cardstock panel with the frame die, multi purpose platform and tan mat. That makes it easy for placement and gluing the frames over the top. Just take away the top tab of the platform when you run the die through the Big Shot to emboss.

I used scraps of Taylored Expressions Granny Smith cardstock for the leaves and a scrap of TE Lemon Meringue for the flower centers.

I heat embossed the sentiment from poppystamps Birthday Blowout clear stamp set on TE Oreo cardstock. TIP: When you’re white heat embossing on black, the cardstock really matters. TE and Bazzill work the best of the ones I’ve tried so far. On others, the powder like soaks into the cardstock and it’s not white anymore! ugh

I embellished the card with the 3 butterflies from the Memory Box Butterfly Trio die.

Then I die cut the largest die in the poppystamps Double Stitch Rectangle Frames two times, glued them together and glued them directly to the card panel.

A cherry birthday card with a little feminine touch!

Memory Box Antique Rose Cluster Label Sympathy Card…

Hi everyone! Super simple sympathy card to share with you today. This new Antique Rose Cluster Label die is super fun to do inlaid die cutting with.

I die cut a ‘pool’ piece of Memory Box notecard with the largest Wrapped Stitched Rectangle die.

I die cut the Antique Rose Cluster Label die in a ‘pool’ Memory Box card panel, a ‘licorice’ panel, a’pink’ panel and ‘sage’ panel.

Completely remove the cut from the ‘pool’ panel, put a piece of wide scor-tape across the wrong side, insert the black outline piece into the opening, then add all the pink and green pieces.

It’s so sweet!

I love this color combo!

I white heat embossed the sentiment from Memory Box Big and Little Words sentiment set and stamped the accent sentiment from the same set, using the MISTI for both.
