Spellbinders September Die of the Month Card…

Hi everyone!  I’m late with my card for this month but I know a lot of you will be getting your club soon so I still want to share!

I have to say I loved putting this collection together!  Spellbinders dies are really well thought out and easy to stick together.

Here’s a short video with some tips I wanted to share…click/tap the bottom right corner to get full frame and full resolution.  It might take a few seconds to load.

Happy Fall is from the September Large Die of the Month Club.

Just die cutting, gluing and flower arranging.  Flower arranging takes me almost as much time as taking the pictures of the card!  Season change again and natural light is tricky for me!

Oh, when I wanted the green darker for stems and parts of the boots I used a copic marker to go over it.  Quick!  Then I edged everything with coordinating brushes, just using the ink that was in them.

So fun creating with this set!

I’ll come back later and add a link to the set when it’s back in the Spellbinders store.

Spellbinders Dancin’ Christmas Cute…

Hi everyone!  This cutie Dancin’ Figgy Pudding made up so cute as an ornament or it could be a gift tag too!  The legs swing on their own and it’s so cute!  I love it so much!

It’s real straight forward.  Die cut the pieces, glue and boom, you’re done.  The pieces are easy sizes to work with.  Even the berries are finger manageable!

I did a little Gathered Twigs Distress inking with the foam mini blending tool and a little white pen here and there.

It is nice to have a pick up tool for the eyes and cheeks.

I’ve never eaten figgy pudding but it’s something I should look up!  I’m even more curious now!

I made up the Dancin’ Penguin as an ornament too!  One of our grandsons loves penguins so I made one for him and one for me! lol

He’s actually a Skating  penguin!  So cute and his skates move too!  Not quite as easily as the legs on the pudding though.

Below is the scarf before I thought to add white with a Posca pen.

Super cute and again so easy to put together.  I finished the back so if it twirls on the tree, it’ll still look cute!

I still have the Gingerbread and Mouse to make.  The cuteness factor from Spellbinders makes me happy!

Thank you for clicking over to see these characters!  I hope they make you smile too!

Spellbinders Sealed Christmas Sprigs Card…

Hi everyone!  The dies I used on my card today are part of the NEW Spellbinders Sealed For Christmas Release.   I don’t have the wax seals but I was able to use this fun foliage and floral die set anyway and used one of the Make it Merry Sentiment Banner dies. Three banners in the set, Jingle All the Way, Make It Merry and the one I used, ‘Tis the Season.

I foiled the Plaid Tidings Hot Foil Plate on a white panel for the background and edged it with Gathered Twigs Distress ink.

I die cut the twigs a few times and placed them where I liked the arrangement, picked them up with Press n Seal, put mounting foam on the back (the thin stuff I like), turned it over and hovered over my front panel and then stuck it where I liked it!

Added the sentiment, Layered on red cardstock and then teal cardstock.

This is closer to an A7 size card than an A2.  The plaid foiled panel is A2 size.  It will fit in an A7 envelope and mail for one stamp!

I like it a lot!  I love these colors together.  Next time I would make the panel smaller and keep it to an A2 size card.  They’re easier to take pictures of! lol

Half way through September….I know I’m always saying this but I can’t believe it!  We’ll just keep making and hope we’re ready for the holidays, right?!  After all it’s people that are the most important!

I’ll be back with the cutest little ornaments I’m making soon!

Stampendous Santa Hugs Card and Tags…

Hi everyone!  So…..I fell in love with this adorable reindeer when I saw it!  Had to have it! lol  The Santa has grown on me too!  The sentiments that go with these dies are adorable too and have dies and make fun tags a long with being so cute on cards! Rudolph would be so cute by himself on a tag!

Here’s the inside…

Santa is a hugging machine with his arms open and used with these sentiments!

I made two tags with Holiday Hugs Sentiments Stamps and Hugs Accessories Dies. So many fun combos and add fun twine and Doodlebug colored clothespins!  CUTE!

Anything with a heart and postal!

Here’s some more photos of Santa and Rudolph!

I added some candy canes and peppermints from the Spellbinders Parcel and Post Christmas Decorations Die set.  Super fun smallish die set with holly, mistletoe and a bow too!

I took so many pictures of this card trying to capture the details.

I used the Art Glittering System Dries White Glue for the fluff on his hat trim and cuffs.  I wish I could show it to you IRL!

The pine branches are from the Spellbinders Winter Welcome Sled Die set.  An awesome die set for Holiday cards!

I love this Spellbinders In The Pines Embossing Folder too!  It’s big…use a half sheet of cardstock and get two A2 card bases in one shot!

I used some Gathered Twigs, Hickory Smoke and Lumberjack Plaid Distress inks to edge the die cuts.  Glue and mount to the cardbase.

The snow is just a torn piece of white cardstock.   Super fun card and tags!
