Gratitude is the Heart’s memory…

These playful bunnies know how to have a good time!  Personality plus! The Penny Black blog challenge HERE, for this week is Thank You cards…I wanted to play,  so I used 1927K Bunny Friends, 3160F Gratitude and 2421F  Thank You on this card.  Linking to the Sweet Stop Sketch Challenge HERE and to the Lily Pad Sketch Challenge HERE To change things up,  I painted Bunny Friends with twinkling H 2 O’s.  My photo makes them look grungy and they are a little but maybe not quite as much as the photo! lol  They did clean up for Easter! lol

Here’s the inside…

Thank you, wonderful bloggging stampers for inspiring and sharing your creativity!

Stamp stuff I used to create this card…

buttons – SEI

cord – from JoAnn’s

Paper – something that was included as a thank you in an order from an online store.

Mimi sends Seasons Greetings…

Today’s card is for the Sweet Stop Sketch Challenge Blog.  Mimi is sending love at Christmastime!  I used Penny Black’s Royal Greetings stamp 4096K,  Hero Arts stamp C3159 Sending Love, and the stitching is from a clear set by Sandy Lion – Kelly Panacci Borders KPSTP4.  Mimi is stamped with Memento Tuxedo Black ink and colored with Copic Sketch Markers.  Mailbox blues are B30’s with some warm grays.  Greens are YG00’s and G99.  Reds are the 20’s, 59, E07 and some warm grays.  Hair is E30’s.  Skin E0000, 000, 00, 11. White flower soft on her hat.  The little heart on the envelope is a teeny  heart punch from a Fiskars handheld (paperboy type) heart punch. The tree charm “thing” is from Around the Block,  I think.  It’s old! Probably five years or so! The dark green paper is old PSX (Personal Stamp Exchange)… the tree paper is from American Crafts and I just purchased it this year!  How ’bout that! lol

Here’s a close up…

Here’s the sketch…

From the side…I don’t know why this tree embellishment was on my desk but I’m sure liking it!

I’m linking my Mimi card to the Stampin’ for the Weekend Challenge blog, HERE.  The challenge is Christmas!  At Penny Black @ Allsorts Challenge blog, HERE, the theme is Beauty is in the eye of the beholder.  At Penny Black Saturday Challenge blog, HERE,  it’s a recipe.

Today and tomorrow left to shop the 10% off Sale at All That Scraps!  Info in this post, HERE.  Christine has added more new stamps!

Tree report… the tree is standing…still not decorated…but standing is good! lol  In looking at it,  I think the trunk is crooked and leans to the left.  I need to point that out to Tim and see what he thinks.  I’m gonna decorate that thing today if it’s the last thing I do!!!  I’ll post a picture then…I do love Christmas trees… just wish we could bottle up the time and treasure it a little longer.  Take care and good cheer!

Wishing YOU a happy, happy day!

Birthdays come quite frequently around here!  For once I am thinking ahead!  This Easel card will be for our Granddaughter Gena.  She is turning 3 on 8/8!  Two of our oldest daughter’s children have birthdays where the month and the day are the same number…SO much easier to remember! lol

This is my DT card for Sweet Stop Sketches Challenge Blog this week.  Another awesome sketch by Korin. Hope you can join us this week!

Finally broke down and purchased some of the new images from Penny Black…they were “calling my name” as I’ve heard it expressed! lol  This little gal’s name is Mimi and I  ♥ her!  The name of the stamp is Sweet Thing, 4084 H is the stamp code.  I used the Fantasy tree, 3880 K to stamp the random dots around her on the scallop oval.  Lace Frost stickles dabbed around on the dots and here and there on the cupcake…gemstones on the corners of the sentiment rectangle.  The sentiment is happy, happy, 00106 E.  The pattern papers are from Making Memories, the  flower border punch is from Martha Stewart and the open scallop border is from EK Success.  Mimi is stamped with Memento Tuxedo Black ink, paper pieced and colored with Copic Sketch Markers.  Also linking to the Penny Black Allsorts challenge Blog.

Gena will love her!
