Tilda for the Just Magnolia Challenge…

I just had to jump right in for the Just Magnolia challenge blog this week…A GREAT PRIZE…oh, I hope I win! Thinking maybe it helps your chances if you just come right out and say that…I better go back to yesterday’s post! haha
Trying my hand at a sketch again…ugh! Am I the only one?????? I get all done thinking I’ve done a grand job and immediately I want to tear it apart! WHAT?!!! I wish I’d put a mat behind the music piece and I’m sure there were a couple other things too…but I’m trying to exercise self-control and leave it alone!
Here’s a close up of this charming extra pink cheeked Tilda!!! lol

The Making Memories paper was still out from yesterday…May Arts ribbon…Prima flowers…Making Memories tree button (old)….Amuse Art stamps sentiment…background stamp on oval behind Tilda is from Stampington Christmas Elements clear set…the music paper is from the Cosmo Cricket new holiday 6×6 pad and the gold brads are from Making Memories.
Oops, better not forget the good ‘ole Bazzill cardstock…love that stuff!!! Have a great weekend!
I’m trying not to talk about the weather!!! lol

Tilda – Just Magnolia

Just finished this card for the Sketch challenge at Just Magnolia Challenge Blog

The first two pictures are to “blue” compared to real life but I liked the crispness of the captured images when they are in full resolution!

I love you this much!

The challenge this week on the Just Magnolia blog is Animals and Insects – please feature either/or on your card. The animal or insect does not have to be a Magnolia image – or even a stamp, it could be a die cut, a punch out, a charm, shaped button – anything as long as it is an animal or insect.IMG_2552

Well….I’m probably stretching it here because my ladybugs are pretty small…I tried to use the Magnolia ladybug but it just didn’t work out like I planned!  I used the new EK Success bug punch and they did turn out pretty cute…took a little fiddling to get them to look like something other than a punch out!

I used grass,  fern,  corner flower and stem punches from the Punch Bunch.  The yellow ric rac is from Making Memories.  Tilda is from Magnolia of Sweden and colored with copic markers.   “You are my sunshine” is from Wordsworth.  I used a rectangle nestabilities die for the background.

Here’s a close up of the flowers and bugs!IMG_2555Thanks for taking the time to check out my entry and I appreciate your encouraging words!!!
