Heart day is coming! I forgot I had this Valentine made! So it’s usurping a birthday card post.

This was fun…I had scraps of white and there’s always scraps of colors to use! Keep that trash can by your side! lol I always laugh at myself when I’m picking a piece back out!

Super fun cover die from Simon Says Stamp. I love that you get all that postage in one pass of the die cutting machine! I had extras too!

I used the cute heart die from the Tim Holtz Fresh Brewed Sidekick Side-Order set to cut a heart in each of the postage rectangles. FUN! I don’t know about you but growing up, making Valentines was always a highlight of the year! I loved those books that you cut out the valentine and the envelope. I only wish I’d kept some of those valentines from grade school years!

Happy Valentines Day is from the Simon Says Stamp Love and Valentines Word Mix2 stamp set. Super fun set! I stamped it in Potting Soil Archival ink from Wendy Vecchi.

Tim Holtz Fresh Brewed Sidekick Side-Order Birthday Card…

Wishing you a warm birthday card… So much potential for this set for any occasion! Make it flakey!

Once again I was inspired by a gal on instagram….I’ll link to her on my post there.

The NEW Tim Holtz Sidekick Side-Order set, thinlets dies and a texture fades embossing folder.

I embossed the folder, trimmed it down, inked it with some Gathered Twigs distress ink and glued it directly to a white Hammermill cardbase.

I die cut the sentiment from Tim Holtz Thin, Sentiment Words die set. I used scor-tape on the back so I could just insert the blue letters back in. I can’t find this set to link to.

Die cut the mugs, steam and snowflakes. The snowflakes are from the Tim Holtz Twig and Stump die set. I can’t find this set to link to. I used the super thin mounting tape I love so much, on the mugs! It’s sticky so I use the scissors I’ll link below.

So fun…you could easy just use paper scraps and come up with all kinds of designs for all seasons!

Spellbinders Bold Color Mix Numbers Cards…

Hi everyone! Branching away from Christmas today! Birthdays keep coming and January is a busy month for our family when it comes to birthdays! YAY! As long as it’s not mine! haha!

This is a 5 x 6 size card so I’ll be using an A7 envelope for it. I tried some stitching for fun….just die cutting and a little stamping.

I used the betterpress dies to stamp the sentiment and th! I liked the distress look I got doing that! I taped the dies into the MISTI and inked them up. lol

I inked the edges of almost everything with Distress Gathered Twigs Ink and a mini ink blending tool.

The pattern paper is from the Doodlebug Design Sweetheart 6×6 paper pad.

Next card….

I hot foiled with the Better Press dies….I used the negative/leftover piece of foil from another project because I thought the polka dots would be fun. But…whoa…what a challenge to get a picture!

It’s Silver foiling for the numbers and the sentiment.

I think I better order a Better Press kit for these solid dies. I’ve been able to do it with the detail betterpress dies and my die cutting machine, following a video a gal put up on you tube but these solid ones I struggled with.

Still fun and a CAS card…much better IRL!

I absolutely love these numbers and the options for making fun celebratory cards! I’ll link the sentiment set I wasn’t able to use yet below also…it’s cool too! So many good products and ideas out there to help us make awesome cards!

Hi everyone! Back to blogging! I’ve been making, posting a few things on instagram. If you don’t follow me there, check it out! I just posted the Christmas cards I received in my stories there and they’ll be up for the next 24 hours.

Die cutting and a stamped sentiment today….Winter is coming on strong these days! Brrrr

The gold branch paper is from the Yuletide Cheer pad, kraft cardstock spattered with white, black and walnut stain inks. I die cut an oval in the trimmed down 5 in. x 6 in. gold, branch paper. Then started building out from there.

I love the snowy log die! So much detail and that pretty white snow against the inky brown.

I die cut the bird in white and inked it with inky brushes. A little black gem for his eye.

I used a green cardstock from the Greenery paper pad for the leaves.

Winter Greetings sentiment is from the Holiday Wishes stamp set.

I like it! Lots of birds in the new releases from the Memory Box companies!
