Hi and are you feeling like I am? This week went by in a blur! I’m blaming it on the time change this week! haha
My first card today is all die cuts except for that little birthday stamp from the “in the words” stamp set.
The poppystamps Stitched Swirl die is die cut into the light green Open Studio Stitched Rectangle Layer, then die cut in a piece of green and pieced into the light green rectangle.
The poppystamps Susanna Bloom is die cut in white, leave it in the die, turn it over and emboss it with a stylus, turn it back over and sponge on the color. In this case, I used Distress Inks Squeezed Lemonade and Peeled Paint.
The word ‘happy’ is from the poppystamps Happy Spring die set. I like to put Scor-tape on the back of the card-stock before I run it through the Big Shot for words. Then you have a sticker. TIP: Pick out the parts you don’t want to use before you remove the word. Take out the waste from the top of the ‘h’, the bottom of the two p’s and the bottom of the ‘y’, then peel off the sticker. It shouldn’t cut through the release paper of the Scor-tape. It’s a lot easier to remove them first then after you have the word off. It’s so sticky to try to remove those inner parts then.

Here is the poppystamps Side Lattice die cut into the card front, backed with Memory Box Sweetcorn card-stock. The poppystamps Sylvan die cut and flowers from the Memory Box Seraphine Laurel die. Thinking of you is from the Memory Box Springtime Bunnies clear set.

For this card, I embossed both of these dies, poppystamps Peony Delight and Peony Bud into the card-stock white panel, then it was real easy to see where to adhere the green die cuts. Happy Spring is from the Springtime Bunnies clear stamp set.
A few sequins, stamp a sentiment and all the cards are A2 size cards.

I’ll be back with the four cards from the other class in a few days. I have a couple other cards to post that I colored!
