Eat dessert first???

When I create ATC’s I try to have them say “something”… today the All That Scraps Design Team is previewing a new CC Designs Amy R. Sentiment set called “Sassy Sentiments”… it will be available HERE on Nov. 1st.   I LOVE all these sets!  I can always find something to use that fits what I need at the moment.

So my humor is a little wacky here… but if you know me you know I don’t eat much for dessert…fruit,  but only around the holidays or for birthdays do we have dessert.  So it’s true but only the top sentiment is part of the set,  I wrote the bottom part…next I need an alphabet set with the font Amy used! lol  I love this handwriting!  To see more sentiments from the set… click on over to the All That Scraps blog for all the wonderful DT creations with sentiments from this new Sassy Sentiments set!  AND…. add you name to Mr. Linky for a chance to win this set!

I also used the new Sugarplums Cookie girl… she’ll be available Nov. 1st, HERE also. Scroll down to yesterday’s post when you go to the ATS blog and you’ll see more of the Nov. Sugarplums release… Cookie, Daydream and a stool!

SALE still going on at ALL THAT SCRAPS! CC Designs images….HERE…Cuddle Crew (free wheelin’ Wally, Daisy), Kiki La Rue, Honey and Sugar, Sugarplums, and Swiss Pixies STAMPS are all 15% off until Halloween night. The discount has already been taken and will show up with the percentage off.

Gonna leave you with a couple more ATC’s I made yesterday gearing up for the swap Sat. a.m.

I’m having fun!  I have a card to do today for the Sweet Stop Sketch tomorrow but I hope to get some more atc’s made too!  I think there is a sentiment in the new Amy R set about housecleaning… so… I’ll keep stamping! lol

bye for now!  ‘preciate you stopping by!

Winter Whimsy….

Today the All That Scraps Design Team is previewing the NEW Sweet November images, drawn by Amy Young, as part of CC Designs November release.  This is Darby… she’s a heart melter and a snowflake/Winter lover!!!  I created an ATC,  Artist Trading Card, a small little palette to really focus on Darby in her Winter wonderland.  An ATC is 2.5 x 3.5 inches in size,  my photo should be the exact size here…fun to add to the ATC collection.  I wish you could all stop in and see my ATC collection!  I’ve been trading since July of 2005 and I have the grandest cards from all over the world!  So fun,  I don’t get near as much trading done since I started coloring again though… seems you can’t do everything! boo!  I’m heading to an “in person” swap Sat.a.m. and need some atc’s to swap,  so I’m coloring ATC’s this week!  If you’re anywhere near Des Moines, Iowa Sat. a.m.,  Join us!!!

Darby comes with an accessory stamp,  a bird named “Pudge”!  Cute!  Darby and her friend Penelope will be available to purchase in rubber and as a digital image on November 1st. HERE

Check out all the awesome creations by the Design Team,  HERE.  Link up for a chance to win Darby and Penelope!

Darby is inked with Memento Tuxedo Black ink on Paper Trey Ink card-stock and colored with Copic Sketch Markers.  Skin – E000, 00, 01, 21,  Hair – E30, 31, 57, 59,  Eyes – B21, 23,  Reds – R24, E07,  Greens – G40, G85, Background – BG0000, 000, 01.

The sentiment is from Amy R’s  Holiday Greetings set, HERE.

I used Hero Arts smallest crystal gems on the flakes and at her neckline.  The pompoms and cuffs have flower soft white and lace frost stickles on them.  The snowflakes have lace frost stickles on them.

I’m linking my Darby ATC to the Creative Belli challenge blog – use flocking or flower soft!  I used the polar white flower soft on Darby.

Monday I posted an enabler alert HERE… looks like the sale might still be going on! If you “need” anything….hehe… hurry over from my links and save!

Thanks everyone!

Peace, Love, Joy Stocking Girl…

Today the All That Scraps design team is reviewing the October release Sweet November Christmas Baby stamps from CC Designs, HERE.  So cute!  Love how the artist Amy Young added the snowman pocket on this Stocking Girl!  She is stamped on Paper Trey Ink card-stock with Memento Tuxedo Black Ink and colored with Copic Sketch Markers.  Hair – E31, 34, 57, 59,  Skin – E000, 00, 01, 21, R20 (diluted),  Dress – R24 and E07.  Just wouldn’t be a finished card without a sentiment!  I used the Merry and Bright sentiment set, HERE,  again… love it!

The holly vine is a Sizzix die #656293 (remember the pumpkin vine? here? lol)  red brads for the holly berries. I used the EK Success med. heart punch and a Marvy snowman punch for the chipboard looking embellishments.  Punched four pieces, glued them together and colored.  I used a Japanese screw punch to get the button holes in the snowman.  I used the new Martha Stewart holly edge punch too.

The paper is Basic Grey Jovial… I used the 12×12 paper collection but the 6×6 pad is available HERE.

I used the sketch from Friday Sketchers, HERE.  It’s a great challenge blog!  Thanks to the DT there!

I’m also linking to the Creative Card Crew Challenge blog, HERE with the theme of “Let’s Punch It”.  My snowman, heart, and holly borders are made with punches!

Be sure to scroll down to my post from yesterday… SALE info!!!  What’s NEW at All That Scraps info also!
