MFT Card Challenges: Wednesday Sketch…

Pam Sparks MFT Warm Hugs

Hi everyone!  I’ve been thinking about getting in on the MFT Challenges for sometime and today is a start!  YAY!

Here’s the sketch…I flipped it over for some reason! lol

274

It’s cooled off some here again… Sunday it was 82˚ but yesterday we were just in the lower fifties!  So sending some warmth is good! lol

I masked off with poster tape and inked a strip in the stitched square with Salty Ocean and Gathered Twigs Distress Ink.  Then I have the cool Homespun Stitch Lines set from MFT and I used the Blanket Stitch one on both sides of the inked strip.  It doesn’t cut the paper it just embosses it!

The pillow, rug and sentiment are from the Merry Christmoose stamp and die sets with the cute moose.  I’ll link up below. I stamped the images with the MISTI and Memento Tuxedo Black ink. Then colored with Copic Sketch Markers.

I hope you’re as warm as you want to be, via coffee, cocoa or the weather!

Thanks for stopping by!

Penny Black Easter Bunny Mimi…

Pam Sparks PB Mimi Bunny Easter

Happy Easter weekend everyone! I have a cute card to share and then for the real reason for Easter, a video to share…they’ll both make you smile and celebrate!

Mimi is from the Mimi and Miles clear stamp set from Penny Black.  I stamped her Hammermill Color Copy Cover card-stock with Memento Tuxedo Black ink and colored her with Copic Sketch Markers.

The sentiment is from Printworks Collection and inked with Versafine Onyx Black ink.

Both images were stamped with the MISTI stamping tool.

I die cut the stamped panel with the Simon Says Stamp Stitched Rectangles dies.

Very basic A2 size card but she’s so cute she stole the show and didn’t need any embellishing IMO!  lol

and here’s the video I wanted to share… super cute kids with the Easter story. This little gal is like a real life Mimi!

Thanks for the visit today!

Pam Sparks Nursery 2 ThursWelcome to my blog today! It’s March release day at Taylored Expressions! I’m featuring the NEW Build a Scene Nursery! My next card is a lot of things I love!  Kraft card-base, lots of white, a little bit of black and super cute images and sentiment!
Pam Sparks Hippo Birdy
Today TE is releasing the Hippo Birdy die set to go with their previously released Hippo Birdy stamp set!  YAY!  Such a fun set!  I could’ve made several more cards to share, if only I didn’t need to sleep, eat, laundry etc! haha  The dies are so easy to use, just place over the stamped image, line up and run through the machine. They are outline dies! YAY!

My scene needed a little more, so I added some Wispy Grass cut in Peapod green TE card-stock and the small cloud from Build a Scene Cloud.  A little washi tape at the top and bottom and images colored with Zig Clean Color Brush watercolor markers.  Look at that ‘mug’!  Just makes a gal smile!

Valentines…

Pam Sparks Typewriter Valentine

I had great fun using stamps and dies to make Valentines last week! Our family party was yesterday so now I can show what I made. I don’t have a picture of one of them and two others didn’t get finished! I always run out of time!

This typewriter (CG280 My Type) card is Hero Arts stamps except for the row of hearts…it’s from Printworks.  I used the Misti to stamp so I could get this super, wonderful black inking!  love it!

Pam Sparks World Valentine

This one is the size of an ATC and uses Reverse Confetti’s world die and an Avery Elle sentiment.  The background embossing folder is from Cuttlebug.  The woodgrain stamp is from All Night Media.

Pam Sparks Airplane Valentine

I made a few of these for the younger grandsons…Avery Elle stamp and die sets and a Hero Arts sentiment stamp. Silver Wink of Stella Brush Marker on the wings and more.

Pam Sparks Fishing Valentine

Here’s the Memory Box Rectangle Frames die with a partial cut heart die, also from Memory Box.  The sentiment stamps and Little Bits Fishing pole and Fish are from Taylored Expressions.  The background is the All Night Media woodgrain stamp again.

Pam Sparks Tree Ring Valentine

I was inpsired by Sarah G for this card. I used the Winnie and Walter Tree Ring stamp, a Memory Box heart die, WPlus9 you die and the Hero Arts sentiment again.  Oh the arrow stamp is from My Favorite Things.

I made envelopes for all the Valentines using the old penmanship lined paper we had in grade school. Fun!

Whew, I could’ve made Valentines for a couple more weeks… it’s like Christmas cards once I get started I don’t want to quit! lol

Now, it’s time to clean up! lol All 17 of the grandkids loved the Valentine exchange party we had yesterday afternoon and hey, the adults had a great time too!

Thanks for stopping by and letting me share with you. Happy stamping!
