Memory Box Canyon Butterflies Card…

Hi everyone!  Still in CAS mode…but let’s try black!  I die cut the butterflies and the NEW Thank You Breezy Script from some brayered cardstock.  That was brave of me! lol

Remember the Kaleidacolor ink pads from Tsukineko?  Scroll through them HERE.  I have a bunch of them and I made a bunch of these backgrounds a couple years ago.  I didn’t write on the backs what pad I used though!  Just use any of them.  They all turn out wonderful!

This is the one I used for the butterflies and the sentiment.

I die cut the black rectangle for the front with the Memory Box A2 Rectangle Frames Die Set.

I die cut the Thank You Breezy Script Shadow die in the black panel.  You’ll need a piece of black behind it when you mount it to your card.

I mounted the panel to the white A2 cardbase with the thin mounting tape I love so much! I use a non stick scissors to cut it…it’s sticky!

Glue the butterflies together…glue the sentiment into the opening created by die cutting the sentiment shadow die.

I added a couple gems to the butterfly from the Memory Box Bright set.

I wish you could see it in person… Black is always striking but photographing with either kind of light washes it out!

That’s it!  Holler if you have any questions!  Go and get inky! lol

poppystamps Whittle Tropical Gator Kit Card…

Surprise!  Now I’m wishing I’d thought to make the bow and hoop red! lol  Happy Fourth of July friends and cardmakers!

Such cute critters from poppystamps and everything you need to make this card or another version in the kit!

Personality indeed!  They’re having a Summer good time!

I colored the die cuts with Copic Sketch Markers after I die cut them in Hammermill Color Copy 100# cardstock.

Branches – YG17, YG 67 and G99

Tree Trunks – E43, E44 and E47

Splash – B000, B00, B01 and B02

Bow and hoop – RV02 and inked a little bit with my dirty pink oxide ink blending brush

Tie – B05 and BG09

Umbrella – N2, 3, 4, 5

Gators – YG21, YG23 and inked a little bit with my dirty green oxide ink blending brush

I kept it clean and simple by just mounting the colored die cuts onto an A2 size Neenah Solar White 110# cardbase that I inked with a little bit of Tumbled Glass Distress Oxide ink.

Small pieces of the thin mounting tape behind the pieces and placed similar to the picture on the envelope of the kit packaging.

So cute and easy to do!  Aren’t the teeth fun?! lol

Have a beautiful holiday rest of the week and enjoy the fireworks if you can stay up late enough! haha!

Hi everyone! Memory Box NEW Lavish Fuchsia Stem makes up beautifully and fills an A2 size card!

I know, I used unusual colors after flipping through the newer Memory Box 6×6 cardstock pads, Lagoon and Greenery.

A CAS/clean and simple design with a simple Memory Box Happy Birthday Foil Greettings Black Circle Tab.

Right now I’m liking fast cards and I made this in an hour!  YAY! I’m trying to ride my bike everyday…any of you have an electric bike?  Trying to build my confidence with the assist and throttle! lol  A little sidetracked by sourdough too! lol  So fun to watch that starter!

NEW Memory Box Little Fuchsia Flower Trio and Branch and Hello Breezy Script Card…

Hello cardmakers and friends!  This NEW release from Memory Box is taking me back a lot of years to when I was so in love with Fuchsias!  Now our daughters are!

They are so fancy! One of God’s truly amazing floral creations! Oh true everything God created is amazing! ❤

I love making clean and simple cards but they are challenging to take pictures of because the pictures never completely do the card justice!

This is such a sweet, delicate die and the sentiment is so neat!  I love this font/look!  I use the Zig Two Way Squeeze Roller Ball point glue pen to glue these.  Works great!  It’s also one time I use tweezers for placement!

I used the thin mounting tape I love so much, trimmed to fit on the back of the floral piece.

I die cut the hello mat three times and glued together so I wouldn’t need to use mounting tape behind.

I die cut the Fuchsia in Taylored Expressions cardstocks and inked with Distress ink pads.  I used single colors but different pressure to achieve the variation.  I’ll link what I used below.

The cardbase and Hello Breezy Script are Neenah Classic Crest Solar White cardstock.

It’s an easy to mail A2 size card.

Memory Box Whimsical Gladiola and Fanciful Gladiola Stem Card…

Hi everyone!  A card full of sunshine today!  Not quite what I pictured in my mind but it is cheerful!

I die cut in Neenah Classic Crest Smooth cardstock and inked with Distress Inks.

I followed the picture on the front of the envelope for how to color.  It’s really cool how it works!  I inked the piece that is the darkest first…

Then ink the piece that is all green…

Then glue the green over the blue!

Next I inked lighter and lighter shades of the same blue on the petals and glued them on following the picture on the front of the envelope/package.

It’s not hard at all! The little pieces of green stem sticking off the stem are where you glue the petals on and they line up!

Same for the yellow flowers.

I used an old Memory Box postage rectangle to mat a panel of paper from the Glimmering Gladiola 6×6 pad.

Then another sheet of the same pad to coordinate on the cardbase.

Then, yet another piece to cut out the NEW Exquisite Butterflies that I only used one of.

I added the cent sign using the old Memory Box abc soup Alphabet Soup die the ‘c’ and the ‘l’.

Fuchsias are on trend again!  Check out the new Memory Box release!  That’s what we’ll be making up next!  You can see it here at Starlitstudio.net

Thank you so much for stopping by today!  I appreciate it and thank you so much for the comments and encouraging words! I finally found where to change the comment section back to what it used to be!  YAY!  I wish they wouldn’t change things!
