NEW! NEW! NEW! Welcome to my blog post today introducing a new stamp from the Simon Says Stamp Cozy Hugs Release.
When this stamp came in the mail… I was stunned with the size but loved the bold print of it and challenged with what I would do!
So I put it in the MISTI and started inking with Lawn Fawn Ink Cubes, Lobster and Artichoke. I tore some scrap paper squares to kinda mask off but finally just ended up wiping off if I got ink where I didn’t want it.
I LOVE it! ❤
Fortunately I thought to snap a phone picture before I chopped it in half! (sorry it’s blurry, ugh, I only took one)
It’s just everything traditional Christmas to me! lol
I used a wide ruler to try to decide WHERE to cut it in half…finally realized there was no rhyme nor reason to where!
I ended up with two Mini Slimline size cards.
This one I just stamped a sentiment right over the design. Happy Christmas from the SSS Inside Christmas Greetings stamp set.
The second I tried gold heat embossing directly on the design but it didn’t show up as well as I thought it would.
I heat embossed a piece of vellum and positioned it directly over the direct to card embossed sentiment.
Now I wonder if I shouldn’t have added some gems or something but you know me… I err on the side of clean and simple!
Are you looking forward to Christmas creating or have you already started? This release has some wonderful things in it!
Tired to catch the gold embossing in the picture a little better.
I had fun making these!
I hope you’ll check out the new release. Thank you for clicking from my blog…if you click from somewhere else but want me to get credit, be sure to come back to my blog and click again. I appreciate it so much and thank you from the bottom of my cardmaking loving heart! ❤

Theses are both lovely cards. I especially like the clean and simple approach you took with these. Enjoying your blog – thanks for sharing!!
You are so quick to come up with the perfect way to use stamps! Plus you were able to make 2. I do love the red and greens for Christmas too!!
These are beautiful – the vellum with the sentiment is gorgeous!
Wow… love your 2 for 1 cards! That wreath is awesome and I do have my eye on it! Gorgeous cards and I love the colors you used!
Way to go with this gorgeous stamp, Pam! Gee, in my previous comment I was saying how I think dies might be best for Christmas cards, but now you’ve got me rethinking that. I need something simple. These are stunning!
Oh these are great and looks like it would be easy to make a lot of these cards quickly! Something I need to do! Thanks for sharing!
What vibrant, traditional cards! That red just pops on your white background, and I love the stamp – I was sure that I’d read and find you’d used a stencil for this project. Great job, as always!!! WHERE is my mojo???? I haven’t posted a blog in a month! Have a great day, dear friend!
