Hi everyone! Are you feeling festive yet? Working with greens, candles, lamp posts and snow gets me in the spirit of things!
I started with a panel of dark gray cardstock from the Memory Box Earth Neutral 6×6 cardstock pad.
I die cut the lamp from TE Oreo cardstock 3 times and glued them up for some height and used foam mounting tape to adhere it to the cardbase after I brushed on some TE Sugar Cube ink and die cut the candle in white, inked it with Oxide inks and stuck it to the back of the lamp.
I cut a piece of scrap acetate to put in the window. I couldn’t really get it to show in pictures! I tried!
I decided on a sentiment from the NEW Memory Box Yuletide Moments stamp set! Stamped it in black pigment ink and heat embossed it with black embossing powder. I love the name of the set and the sentiments are all beautiful! Be sure to check them out! I love it when there’s words for the front and the inside that match!
I die cut the NEW Pine Needle Trio and Holly Bundle dies from the Memory Box Green 6×6 cardstock Pad. The berries from a scrap of red. I glued them directly to the lamp post.
Then I decided I needed to spatter the panel so I covered the words, got out the spatter box and using acrylic white ink and a bit of water and a brush, I spattered away.
This card is a little smaller than an A7 size. Nice presentation!
Here’s a phone picture that maybe shows the acetate/glass on the lamp post better…the red is not this color though! ugh. Oh well, I give up, It’s Taylored Expressions Cherry Pop red cardstock. I’ll link below. Maybe red needs black behind it. lol I’ll have to try another time!
Thank you all for stopping by! I appreciate it!
P.S. I added a video to the end of my last post for the ornaments/tag.
Here’s what I used to make this card…
