Memory Box and poppystamps Valentine Cards…

Hello everyone! I die cut the new poppystamps Confetti Heart Plate die in white twice and red cardstock once and made three cards.

The red panel I adhered to a white cardbase and stamped the XO  from the Memory Box Big and Little Valentines stamp set. So cute!

I die cut the new Memory Box Antique Heart Label die in white and red cardstock too.  For this card I used parts of both cuts as you can see in the pictures. I did a little more XO stamping and stamped i love you in the label cut from the same stamp set.

I die cut a vellum heart using the new Memory Box Double Stitch Loving Heart Cut Out die set and using foam mounting tape, I adhered the Label cut to the vellum. Then I used Tombow Mono Multi glue to adhere the vellum to the card front. Keep the glue hidden.  😀

The red hearts from this red panel die cut, I used on the next card…

When you die cut these heart dies, there are surrounding stitch lines.  So I used the largest size to get the largest heart cut and using the next size down heart, I die cut in the vellum again and cut the double stitch lines!  I cut again in the pattern paper.  I love this pinstripe looking paper pad! This gives you an idea what the die looks like. (not actual sizes)

Then I had the poppystamps Stitched Envelope laying on my desk too…there went my brain speeding away… haha  I’m not sure which version I like the best? So I took pictures of it both ways!

It does add some ‘heart’!  ❤  Special Delivery indeed… from the same stamp set.

Now I’m thinking the little tag would be super cute sticking out of the envelope too! :O

It’s from the new poppystamps Heart Tag Trio die… I’m thinking it’s a must have… I used it on a card last week too that I haven’t posted yet… I will!

I think I want to make a CAS card using the envelope and the tag now. lol

I better finish this post first, right?!  Here’s card #3…

Are you like me and love ink blending?  It’s so nice to use all these color ink pads that we buy! I have so many ink pads from my 24 years of stamping!  I always want to buy more though… it’s nuts! I know I’m not alone! haha Raise your hand!

Here I used Distress Oxide inks and the Taylored Expressions ink blending brushes.  I was so fortunate to receive them for Christmas! They are so nice!  The handles are nice and sturdy and they are just so colorful and fun!  Every card making session is an inky party!

I used Squeezed Lemonade, Spiced Marmalade, Festive Berries, Mowed Lawn and Wilted Violet.  I stamped the sentiment on a heart from the same heart die set and using the same clear sentiment stamp set using Mowed Lawn.

Matte Doodlebug Sprinkles to embellish the heart and sentiment.

Holler if you have any questions! Thank you so much for clicking over and the Valentine Countdown is on!  More cards coming!

  1. Look at you go! You are the die cutting wizard of all time! I love these A LOT! Especially smitten with the blended ink on! What great cards – someone’s going to be happy dancing at the mailbox, for sure!!!

  2. What adorable cards! I love that little tag and little envelope! Hmmm……might just have to make a purchase now! LOL! I have soooo many ink pads! Too many! LOL! I need to get stamping and color blending! Thanks for sharing!

  3. So much to look at! I love how the heart label fits right in on the first card, and that darling tag and envelope on the second. I raise my hand about the ink pads. Love the blending! Your little matte sprinkles are exact matches to your ink colors. This was fun, Pam!

  4. Each one is spectacular!!! I love them all but the multi-color one with the matte dots is my favorite – I think because I’m such a traditionalist with color. You get me to think outside my zone and I love how you to that!! The gorgeous rainbow effect just jumps out at me and I absolutely love it!!!

I love hearing from you! Thank YOU!
