Valentines….bring back memories of sitting on the living room floor cutting out cute images from dime store Valentine booklets. I remember being so thrilled when they made them punch out! lol That dates me! lol
Now we’ve gone from blah punches to die cutting and all sorts of amazing crafting!
On my first card today I used the NEW Memory Box 3D Heart Bouquet Embossing Folder for the background panel. WOW! It is so pretty!
I decided to just cut some dies to see what I could put together on top of the panel. I love the Champagne Heart in gold glitter cardstock.
I die cut the Leafy Heart in Mint Julep cardstock… swiped on some Versamark ink and heat embossed it with glitter gold embossing powder. I really liked the unusual, soft color of this green with the gold.
Then I just played around deciding what to use and this is how it ended up! I wish you could see it IRL! I need to send it to one of you! 😀 Somebody claim it! ❤
Be My Valentine is a sentiment die from last year’s release. So pretty! I love how vintage but still elegant it looks for this card.
The next card is one I made a few weeks ago using the New Memory Box Happy Heart Collage Die again. I got a little carried away with it but hey, it’s nice to use a die three times right off the bat! lol
Here I layered, with foam mounting tape, the Happy Heart cut panel over a Leafy Heart cut. I stamped Valentines Day on it first though.
I went over the ‘Happy’ with a metallic paint pen. Then I added little dots with Ranger Liquid Pearls, gold pearl.
A totally different look than the first card! I need to send it to someone too! Somebody claim it? I think I need to use this Leafy Heart die some more!

Thank you for stopping by today!

Those are both beauties!
beautiful color combination
Wowie, gorgeous everything! That gilded heart hanging over the embossed background is rather spectacular! Then, I wasn’t expecting a second card, but there you go, and that leafy heart has MY heart! Hey, anyone would want one of you cards to add to their art collection!
My favorite is the one with the green leaves in the background-but both beautiful!!
The teal and gold is absolutely glorious!! The second one reminds me of ferns, and the little gold dots are perfection!!!
Absolutely gorgeous! I love the way the green and gold came together. Your ideas are always a winner!
