Hello! Did you hear the excitement in my hello?! lol ‘Making’ cards for Christmas gets me ALL excited and giddy with all the new product! How to make and shop at the same time! It is hard! lol
When this die arrived in the mail I was so happy this is what SSS sent me! I love it! In my first card, I combined it with the RyLynn Snowflake and a sentiment from Inside Holiday Greetings.
I got out some Distress Oxide ink pads and started smooshing. It’s one of those come back after a layer dries and add another layer. I just started another card while I was waiting!
I love these dies with the larger outline cut and the intricate word to layer in the outer cut. I think you know what I mean… whew. lol I’m not so great at describing things sometimes! The Distress Oxide layer has the large ‘hole’ cut in it. I die cut a piece of craft foam with the large die too and adhered it behind so the silver falala would be down in the hole.
I love how festive and non-traditional this turned out!
My next card…well, I love it too! CAS, white and so sparkly festive!
American Crafts glitter paper…I like it! It’s a really nice weight and die cuts perfectly! Here I didn’t use craft foam behind the top layer but you still get enough dimension to show the beauty of the die.
The sentiment is from the Holiday Message Strips stamp set and poppystamps Holly Leaves and Berries dies are all the embellishment this card needed to keep it CAS.
I’m so excited for this release! You can see all of it HERE at Simon Says Stamp. What do you think? I can’t wait to see it all myself! lol I see some snowmen that need to come to my house!!! and pine looking something back there! eek!
Thanks so much for stopping by and listening to me go crazy over Christmas creating! We are having so much fun, aren’t we stampers?! I hope you are. If you want to swap Christmas cards, drop me an email! I love getting cards from stampers!
p.s. can’t wait to hear what you love from this release!
Here’s what I used to make these cards… use the code HARVEST to get $5 off your order at SSS.

Two more gorgeous cards! I like the way you “nestled” the line dies in the bigger cuts.
I just loved the way you used that pretty die! Fabulous cards!!!
Love your Fa La Las. Beautiful cards.
Ooooh, I love both of these!!! That CAS card would make for quick and easy Christmas cards… I didn’t even get any out last year… shame on me… 😖
This release from SSS is amazing, but what is amazing and incredible is what you did with it!! Brilliant!!!
Love the CAS second card with the white space. As always a great job with both cards.
Pam I love non-traditional Christmas colors – your shades of purple are so very dramatic, and gorgeous! and then you go and get all CAS and I LOVE that SO much, too! You can do it all… beautifully! [this little die may just have to fa-la-la-fall into a cart!] xx
=]
Your cards are gorgeous!! The background on the first one is amazing! Love the sparkle and shine and the pretty glittered paper on the second one!! Beautiful work on these!!!
Holy cow, not one but TWO fabulous cards! Awesome watercolor background on the first (and I totally get your explanation), and pristine CAS with sparkle on the second. What’s not to love about this release? Wow!
Wow! I love BOTH of these! So different but each is amazing!
Hmmm….I was pretty sure I had commented on this post, but guess my brain is all fried up this week! Love these, Pam, especially the second card. You have a way of making a CAS card look like a million bucks! Seriously, do you EVER end up with something that’s ugly? Lots of trash here, some days! Thanks for sharing 🙂
These are both remarkable, Pam! I love the bold and vibrant smooched version, but really, really love the CASier white holly style!! Hugs, Darnell
I love that sentiment and you showcased them wonderfully, Pam. I especially love your CAS card, so beautiful with the sparkly traditional colors.
Oh I love them both! I love the recessed greetings! Beautiful Pam! A card swap would be great! 🙂
