I just had to stop class prep and make a couple cards yesterday! I was going through withdrawal! lol A simple card that took me a few hours. lol I tried a couple other things but came back to this traditional layered up card! At least we have stitched rectangle dies now to dress up the layers! lol
I love this little holly duo stamp and die from the NEW Purrfect Holidays stamp set and Purrfect Holidays die set. I stamped and painted 7 of them with Peeled Paint Distress ink and the water brush , die cut them (using the On the Edge Cutting plates because they are smaller and faster to run through small things) and glued them to the wreath with Tombow Mono Multi glue.
Now for the fun part… A TIP... in case you haven’t already thought of this. Because I glued the holly to the Freida Wreath die cut already, I can turn the wreath over and put ½ squares of mounting foam tape on the back behind each of the holly, making the whole wreath popped up from the card base when I stick it on then! No gluing a few wreaths together to get dimension! YAY!
I embossed the sentiment from the NEW Christmas Botanicals stamp set with Embossing ink and gold embossing powder. I love this stamp set! I plan to use it some more soon!
I used some skinny ribbon to make little bows tied on to the wreath here and there and then a piece along the bottom to finish it up!

This is so pretty, Pam. I love kraft card, Christmas cards, red and green together… In other words – I love it all. x
That is beautiful!!! I love the little holly leaves on the wreath and your tip is wonderful! Hadn’t thought of that, but will definitely be trying it! So fun to see your Christmas cards! Glad you took a card making break! 🙂
I can so relate…fussing with just one or two elements can take forever as they are the only pieces making the statement, Your hours were well spent, this is a real pretty one! ♥ Sue Kment
Very pretty…..as usual!! I am knee deep into Halloween………..my favorite!!
Very pretty wreath – I can almost her the Christmas bells ringing (not). I just made my first fall card today – 95 outside so had to think cool. Love the stitched dies – they add so much to any card.
Love this card Pam. Everything goes so well against the kraft background. The tiny bows and red hollyberries are too cute. The sentiment is perfect. Beautiful work Pam.
Very nice Pam. I love it
So simple but yet so elegant. Can’t wait to see it IRL tomorrow.
Pam this is fantastic – the ribbon knots, the embossed sentiment – love it all!!
LOVE! Each little element that you used to create this beauty! The watercoloured holly, teeny gold bows and gold embossing…thanks for joining in at Muse Christmas Visions!
so pretty, the wreath looks great against the craft card stock base and that is a great tip on giving the wreath dimension, now if I can remember that 🙂 Have a great weekend!
A very elegant Christmas card! Love the tiny bows!
Oh, so pretty!!! LOVE this! Thanks for getting me all inspired to create for Christmas 🙂 We are home, and very tired. Drove just under 1000 miles, but had some quality grandma time! Feeling blessed…. Have a good weekend!
Love this multi-media wreath – the more you look, the more you see! So glad you joined us at MCV this week, Pam!

Beautiful mix of stamps and dies – LOVE the little bows!
Traditional and very elegant, I like this!
Beautiful wreath and great tip. The bows make your wreath special.
Your wreath looks festive as well as very delicate, love it, glad to see you at HLS.
Hey, simple is the way I’m going to have to go for most of my Christmas cards this year, seeing as how I’m not getting much time to stamp lately. In the case of this card simple is GREAT! Love the wreath sitting there all comfy on the craft, and just look at those darling tiny bows! Fantastic, Pam!
Lovely Christmas card!
Thank you for sharing with Happy Little Stampers!
