Merry Monday Christmas Challenge…

Pam Sparks SSS kraft snowflakes

Hello stamping friends! So many fun challenges right now.  I just had to jump in for the Merry Monday Christmas Challenge this week, woodgrain, kraft and white. YES! I have to admit, it was hard not to use red and black too though! lol

I used SSS dies and stamps on this one with the exception of the woodgrain being from Lawn Fawn and the banner from MFT.  I will put links below if you want to know the exact products.

I stamped with the MISTI on the banner and embossed with Versamark and detail white embossing powder.  I did use the anti static powder first too…that especially helps with the fine, detail powders.

I edged everything with Gathered Twigs Distress ink and the mini ink blending tool.

Here I used Memory Box and poppystamps dies.  I inlaid the circle snowflake die and the center hanging snowflake dies.  So, I’m linking up to a couple challenges for inlaying and also…

  1. This seems like such a hard challenge, but you aced it! Love the snowflake inlays! Beautiful cards, as always. 🙂

  2. These Christmas cards are spectacular and exquisitely unique. How clever is your layouts of the snowflake dies. You brought the WOW factor to both these cards by using the wood grain as the background. You’ve got this challenge Pam! Absolutely exquisite!

  3. I know it’s wrong to covet, but I do covet that wood grain cardstock. If only I had an embossing folder exactly like that. I do love your stamped wood grain background, too. Really fabulous cards, Pam!

  4. Oh my Christmas…making me nervous. But wait an interesting take on Christmas using a Kraft woodgrain…I like Missy Pam…always a great job….waiting to see the poppystamp coming out on the 15th and will then order those sashes….I am sure that is going to be a hit…with more of those.

  6. Oh how pretty – BUT – Christmas is a LONG way off – too early to think about – wrong – never to early to think about Christmas. I’ve thought about it but that is about it. The cards I want to make are a bit time consuming so I best get a start soon. Have a great weekend.
