Hi! ok, so a blogging friend, Sandy keeps posting cute Christmas cards so she influenced me to think Christmas for this sketch! hehe She collects the cutest little figurines!!! Her name is ‘linky’ if you wanna go see.
This is my 2nd take on the sketch…I thought I was short on time because that’s pretty normal for me but it worked out that I had time today after-all so I made it over and I’m happier with the inking on this one.
Here’s the first one…
I added the polka dot washi tape so I could link it up to the polka dot challenge at Simon Says Stamp Wednesday Challenge blog.
Here’s the MFT Sketch Challenge. I thought it was pretty clever to use the twine for the band in the sketch.. hehe
Over on the Muse Christmas Visions Challenge blog, I was inspired by the holly paper, the white sentiment panel and the cluster of florals.
So I’m back with my love of kraft, red, green and white! Happy day! Hey, at least it’s not Christmas yet! whew!
Thanks for the visit and best wishes for the week anyway! lol
Shopping Links to the supplies I used to make these cards…
You had me at Kraft, and then you added polka dots! Both cards are perfect, as always, but oh my, I do love me some dots!!! Thanks for always inspiring me!
so cute! love both of them in kraft and the red really pops; fabulous holiday cards!
Love what you do with craft paper..
So cute and simple yet fun and cheery. I will never tire of kraft paper and you show it so well with your colors and layout. Thanks Pam for sharing
These are both just adorable, but I have to say I just LOVE the addition of the polka dotted Washi tape!! That really adds a pop!
I so love that cardinal – and in the bed of holly leaves on kraft…well it is just perfect Pam!!
Beautiful Christmas card! Love the cardinal!
Fun to see you back to kraft and red !!! I love combo and you did well !!! The polka dot washi makes the card over the top.
Gorgeous cards again, Pam!
Very neat!!!
So cute, Pam, and so simple. They’re both lovely!
That is so sweet, love what you did with the sketch, always good to get a head start on those Christmas cards!
I really love both of these! Perfect cards & simple to make….even better!
Love Kraft and just about anything – but especially polka dots. I do like the second take better, it just stands out more but both are very nice.
Oh, this is fabulous! I love your wonderful take on the sketch!
Love this cardinal – didn’t use him nearly enough last year! Great combination of challenges! So glad you joined us at MCV this week, Pam!
A really attractive clean and simple card – warmest wishes I send to you too!
I am NOT going to buy another thing until I use a lot of what I have!!!!
But I love you anyway!!!!~

Such cute cards Pam! I need to use my Washi tape….but never think of it when I am making my cards, only after they are done! Ha! 🙂
Love it! The polka dot washi tape is a great addition! I need to get busy with some Christmas cards only made a few so far.
