NEW Memory Box Winter Scenes…

PamSparksSnowglobeWhitte700

Brrrr…it’ll be a Winter Wonderland before we know it! haha!  I love creating Winter scenes!  I started this card with the NEW Stitched Snowflake Circle Frame die. I knew it would work with one of the NEW Open Studio Snowglobe Base dies that I die cut in kraft wood grain card-stock.

I used the NEW Open Studio Pinpoint Circle Layers die set for the blue card-stock circle background.

The poinsettia is from the NEW Poinsettia Border die cut in green and red card-stock.  I trimmed off the smallest flower and a couple of the flourishes/holly leaf and colored the little flowers with a white gel pen.

Inside the snowglobe circle I die cut the NEW Deer in the Trees die in black card-stock, trimmed it to fit and added some Frosted Lace stickles to the branches.

After I made the snowglobe piece I started working on what to put it on.  I just kept adding because these dies are so cool and build on each other so well!  I ended up with a card under the snowglobe!  An all white card, so I took pictures of it before I put the globe on it!

I die cut everything from white card-stock and then glued the layers down in this order, with Tombow Mono Multi glue.

NEW Simple Evergreen Frame die first, then the NEW Deer in the Trees die and on the top, the NEW Cascade Evergreen Frame die.  They line up perfectly and Mono Multi glue gives you just a little bit of wiggle room to get things adjusted!  I appreciate that! lol

That was my adventure in card making yesterday!  : )  I hope it sets your mind to racing about all the things you can create with these new dies!  LOVE.THEM.ALL!

After all this ‘snow’, I think I need to go for a bike ride! lol  Thanks again for stopping by! ttul!

  1. You could frame just the white on white! Beautiful! It is so serene and classic! But I love the little pop of color with the snow globe and the deer, of course! Very, very classy!!

  2. Oh Pam these are gorgeous! I almost picked the snow globe base . I love your all white elegant card! Christmas in July on Hallmark too!

  3. My favorite is the white on white. But they are both lovely. Makes me wish for Christmas even more…Hugs, joann

  4. The queen of winter scenes it as it again !!! It is simply beautiful !!! You could use the white and white without the globe on it. It is very striking.

  5. I’m with you Pam!!! I LOVE all the new dies too! The snow globe is amazing. I LOVE how you did the scenes in each card. So stunning!!! The trees in black in the globe are just fabulous as they turn to white outside the globe. Just gorgeous, gorgeous and more gorgeous!
Thanks so much for sharing with us!

  7. LOVE both of these! Darn, I knew I should have ordered the snow globe die! Now that I have seen it in person, it goes on my next order! These cards make me want to start making Xmas cards! Awesome job!

  8. This card is so refreshing after the heat wave here in WA. Just love all the dies and colors. I look forward, but can’t believe it’s Christmas in July already! I’m so inspired and excited. Thank you Pam, for sharing your sweet Christmas card.

  9. Wow!! These are both SO stunning!! OMGoodness! Two of the most beautiful cards I have ever seen! The first one is just gorgeous with the snow globe and the white all around, and the second one in all white… oh my!!

  10. Theses are so beautiful. I would have never of thought to combine that frame die with the globe, how wonderful. I love these posts because they teach you how to use your dies in a whole new way. Thank you!!!

  11. What a beautiful card, Pam! Your attention to details always amazes me. Cutting the deer and trees out of black and putting it over the existing white was a clever idea. Your cards seem to have so much extra punch in them. The white on white would have made a lovely card but putting the snow globe on top of it makes the card really pop. Thanks for the inspiration. I love when Memory Box comes out with new dies because I usually want them all. Have a great week!

  12. OH WOW! This is FABULOUS Pam! I’m loving these new dies … and you’ve inspired me in so many ways using them! GREAT job (yes … adding these to my wishlist also! lol)
