Printworks Collection Birthday and Christmas…

HI Everyone!  Three A2 size cards to show you today…I really have six but I’ll hold off on the other three for another post!

Do you have any Christmas birthdays coming up?  I’ve had these santa hat brads and I just had to use one!

I matted the main panel with black card-stock cut with the Perfect Layers Rulers.  Can hardly make a layered card without them!

and on the inside…

A masculine card with a nature twist…I used a gold Krylon pen for the gold dots… dispensed some out on the craft sheet and dotted the ink onto the card with the end of a paintbrush.  Edged the sentiment with Distress ink and then the Krylon pen.  Stamped with Printworks Ivy and Oak Brown ink pads.  I did shadow the stag with a little copic coloring.

on the inside…Printworks has the best scripture sentiments…stamped with Printworks Ivy Ink pad.

I love this one… the gold embossing and pretty Christmasy colors.  I stamped and embossed several stamps and then colored with watercolor markers – Tombow and Memento.  Tied on some twine.

then on the inside…stamped in black versafine ink.

  1. Oh look at all the fabulousness!! These are wonderful! Love the sentiment on the first one! That’s so cute! The nature card is so perfect for a guy, and I love the gold embossing and coloring on the last! Beautiful work my friend! 🙂

  2. Love your cards! Thanks for showing the inside sentiment as well. Sometimes, I think that is the hardest part of making the card. The teacups are my favorite. 🙂

  3. Great cards!! I love the dress with the santa hat and the greeting – perfect for December bdays! And I also love how you put all of the stamps together to create the last card. Great design and I love the gold embossing. So glad to see you use printworks stamps and I love stamping and don’t have that many dies anyway…so it is fun to see stamped-only cards. They are all very special! Thanks for sharing.

  4. Funny! Love the stamps and the sentiments! Too cute!
    What….no dies….no way! =)
I’m getting closer to getting my Christmas cards done! Yay…what a feat…I put too much detail into them; but, so worth it!

  5. Boy, I looked at all 3 of these trying to decide my favorite. At first I thought it was the dress. LOVED that one! Then I thought it was the awesome deer head with that beautiful sentiment, until I got to the teacups and I think that was my favorite of all of them! Maybe…..I’m still really liking that dress! ha ha
