Memory Box for Starlitstudio… Horse Country

Hello and welcome to my blog today! I’m sharing two cards I created with Starlitstudio’s exclusive new die from Memory Box, called Horse Country.

A Fall card…

and a Winter card…

I used the Memory Box Golf Club Landscape border die in the background on both cards. (I cut off the flag)

On the Fall card I added the small leaf from the Memory Box Marvelous Maple die, poppystamps new Fancy hello die, Trotting Pony die and Country Fence die. On the inside I used the Memory Box Give Thanks Combo stamp (leaves and sentiment) and Memory Box A-2 Notecards in Sky and Kraft.

On the Winter card I used Memory Box A-2 Notecards in Sapphire and White, Ho Ho Holly Leaves die and poppystamps new Vintage Seasons die. I just used the Greetings part on the front and on the inside, I cut the ‘s’ from the end of Season’s and stamped the words ‘of the’ from the Memory Box Wonderful Time Combo stamp.

The Christmas, Winter Horse Country scene card is spattered with white spray ink and then sprayed with Imagine Crafts Sparkle Spray.

All of these dies and stamps are available for purchase @ starlitstudio.net

I will be making Horse Country up in Spring and Summer versions too!  Thanks for visiting today and Season’s Greetings to you!  THANK YOU for your encouraging comments too!  I appreciate it so much!

  1. Oh my goodness – I simply MUST have this die!!! What a gorgeous card, Pam! A friend of ours has a granddaughter that is riding, doing competitions, etc. This would make THE perfect card for her! Now…can I justify a die for one card…that is the 64 million dollar question! Love this so much – thanks for sharing!

  2. Wowzers Pam….how BE-‘YOU’-TI-FUL!!! I love the different seasons. You really brought them to life!!! Thanks for sharing with us! So very nicely done!!! I’m in awe!

  3. Hi Pam-So beautiful, as always. Easy to switch up with deer also. I have been enjoying all of them-just no time to write you. Just got back from seeing our little ones. Lots of fun with them-but I was kind of sick off and on. Hated to leave-but good to be back in my own bed!!!

  4. I love both of these! That fall card is gorgeous with the fence & leaves! I had to laugh when I saw it though. You & I always seem to be on the same wave length. I just made a Xmas card a couple of days ago using that golf border & cutting off the flag! Your card is a whole lot prettier!

  5. These are beautiful. Even tho I admit I like the Fall card the best, because Fall colors are my favorite and the fence die is a ‘wow!’…Thanks you for sharing your wonderful talent with us.

  6. Wonderful…makes me think of the beautiful horse farms around Lexington, Ky. I was born and grew up in Western Ky. Takes me back! I love both of these beauties!!

  7. WOW !!! I really like the cards. They really fit in with the countryside we are in right now, not the snow though !!!

  8. Love the horse country Autumn & Winter—have to get it and wait for your Spring and Summer which will be equally awsome. Wait until my club members see these new cards of yours!

  9. Oh Pam these are stunning!! You did an amazing job with this die!! My Mom will HAVE to have this. I love it that you did a winter card with it too! That is so pretty with the snow! I’m going to have to send her a link to your blog!

  10. Oh yes! Kay’s mom here and I love both of these cards… the Fall & the Winter one. I will definitely have to have the horse dies. I’ve been wanting to use one for my Christmas cards. You did a beautiful job with both.

  11. These are gorgeous Pam! I have these dies but have never used them – you’ve shown how beautiful and versatile they are! Thanks for ‘reminding’ me to come take a look!

  12. WOW !!!! I love looking at all the wonderful cards out there & am always looking for inspiration. Today I found it when I saw your oh so cute horse creations … These are AMAZING Pam. I have several horse dies that I bought (had to have them) & have never used them then I saw your cards & am blown away. What a terrific change from everything else … Not that I don’t love fall cards & deer & bunnies & snowflakes but you always think up the coolest ideas using things no one else does. I am going to have to case these cards cuz I have a very very good friend who is having a birthday today & this would have been the perfect card for her. I’m going to make something similar but I’m going to give you credit & put a link to you. Not sure I told you but I did get the perfect mini rulers but haven’t tried them out yet. You are still my favorite enabler & you are SOOOO good at your JOB.
    hugs, Janie

I love hearing from you! Thank YOU!
