Memory Box Deep Blue Ocean and Bubble Border…

Hi everybody! Working through the Memory Box release…. thinking of you and I had to use this Vitamin Sea sentiment again! Many of you know me and I’m a vitamin C user! hehe

I started by inking a mini slim line panel with Tumbled Glass oxide ink, lightly marked where the circles were with a pencil, then stamped the school of fish stamp from the Deep Blue Ocean stamp set randomly over the larger circles. Then I stamped the ocean greenery images from the same set in dark greens.

Then I covered the panel with a piece of vellum…like you’re looking through glass…

I inked the top panel with Oxide inks, Salty Ocean and my Peacock Feathers brush without adding more ink. Spattered it with water.

Let it dry, then stamp the sentiments from the set using the MISTI and Ranger Archival Black ink.

I colored and die cut the cute little fishy with Copic markers but then I decided I didn’t like the white around it so I fussy cut it and mounted it on the panel with mounting tape.

On the inside I stamped the Feel Better Soon stamp from the set.

This is a great set… it can go for any occasion with the variety of sentiments! Birthday, Just Because, Sympathy and get well!

Hello Bluebird Fishin’ Hole Shadowbox Card…

Meet me at the fishin’ hole! It’s a beautiful day! lol Here’s the card I made for our grandson Corrin who just turned 12! He loves to fish with Grandpa!

I saved this idea from Instagram/designs by mommajean when I saw it last year. So much fun! I made the video after I gave it to Corrin and he showed me that it looked like the fish were swimming when you bend it back and forth! ❤

I didn’t have a shadowbox die set that would work for what I wanted to do so I had to make this up as I went. No instructions, just some Math! lol

I stamped, die cut the images and colored with Copic Sketch markers. Since alcohol marker ink saturates through to the back side, I die cut a piece of white cardstock to glue behind the colored images.

Memory Box Floral Chain Card…

Hi everyone! I’m seeing so many posts with flowers these days! It was fun to die cut this NEW die from Memory Box, Floral Chain, in watercolor paper and paint it up!

I used the small tropical palette from Prima to paint the flowers and butterfly.

I used a lavender cardbase, then a black A2 size panel, poppystamps Lattice Plate cut in Neenah 110# Classic Crest Solar White cardstock, poppystamps Orchard Leaves die cut in watercolor paper and colored with the same palette and Memory Box Glade Butterfly die cut in watercolor paper and colored with the same palette.

Dewdrop Fairy Sugar glitter glue on the flower centers and butterfly wings.

On the inside I stamped this sentiment from Memory Box Joyful Moments clear stamp set with Ranger Archival Black ink.

On the front I used one of the banners from the new Memory Box Banner Sentiment Trio die set. I stamped the Happy Birthday from the new Memory Box Deep Blue Ocean clear stamp set and Ranger Archival Black ink.

This card screams Summer! I hope the recipient will enjoy it!

Simon Says Stamp Make Magic Release Cup of Love Card…

Hi everyone! I have another mini slimline card to share with you today! This size is so much fun!

I just received my order with a few of the new products from this release… Cup of Love stamp set and die set and this new slimline size Organic Dots stencil.

I’m not a coffee drinker but lots of family and friends that are! This should get used!

I simply inked through the stencil with Gathered Twigs Distress ink using the Make-Art Stay-tion that comes with four strong magnets to hold the stencil in place…very helpful!

Then I spattered with black watercolor, dried it and then white watercolor.

To cut the panels I used the new Waffleflower Mini Slim Line die set! I am going to get the use out of this set… I’ll link it below too.

I stamped, die cut, colored and assembled. The card ends up 3 ½ x 6 inches. I used Memento Rich Cocoa stamp pad for the coffee.

I stamped the sentiment with Ranger Archival Coffee ink pad.

Memory Box Flowering Cactus Slimline Card…

Hi everyone! I had some fun coloring yesterday. Right now there’s a 30 day coloring challenge going on and I’m so glad I had this to color!

I stamped the NEW Memory Box Flowering Cactus in the MISTI with Tuxedo Black Memento ink, die cut it and colored it with these copics…

I stamped and die cut the sentiments from the Signature Greetings sets. I cut just the die a couple more time so I could glue them together to get some lift. Easy gluing when the dies are like this!

I die cut the largest and next largest of the Memory Box Wrapped Stitched Slimline dies in TE Oreo cardstock and Neenah 110# white cardstock and layered everything up.

I used mounting foam tape behind the cactus to adhere it to the panels.

Succulents are so fun and popular right now! Maybe sometime I’ll get to see then in the desert!
