Three Valentines with the NEW Memory Box Woodland Heart Frame Die…

First up…oops… I said Valentines up there but I made this one a birthday card! oh well, it could easy be a Valentine too! The Woodland Heart Frame die, the bike from the Neighborhood Heart Frame die and a sentiment from the new stamp set, Best Life Typewriter Sentiments.

I tore a piece of printer paper and inked the concrete and used a cloud stencil to ink the clouds. A little bit of Copic marker to make the shadows under the bike tires.

I love the heart in the tree, don’t you?!

I inked the kraft die cuts with Gathered Twigs Distress ink and the ink blending tool.

Here you can see that I used mounting tape to raise up the center circle. I just cut narrow strips…not hard at all!

It’s not Valentines Day unless I use some of this pool color, red and kraft! Oh and white!

The little heart flowers are from the new Scrollwork Heart Circle Frame die.

There’s that heart in the tree again! 😀

I used the new Love Jotted Script die too. I love these sentiment dies like this… so easy to glue up and even a little mounting tape under the top of the ‘L’.

I used mounting tape strips again for the center circle.

These cards will all mail easy for one postage stamp….even though they’re square they are 4 ¼ inch so will fit in an A2 envelope easy.

No fear of getting bored creating with these dies…mix and match and just have fun!

The sentiment I used is from the new poppystamps Love and Friendship clear stamp set. I’ll show another sentiment from the set on a card tomorrow.

I was going to post all 6 cards in one post but then I changed my mind…3 today and 3 tomorrow! Then who knows what will be next!

Hi everyone! Excuse me while I backtrack to Valentines Day but I just have to share these Artist Trading Cards I made for our grandchildren for V-day! I made doubles and triples of most because we need a lot for our awesome grandkids! I know, I know, I’m bias! lol

Starlitstudio.net sells these little sacks, so I decorated them a wee bit with washi tape. I’ll link everything below…

It’s impossible to get googly eyes to behave for a photo laying down! lol

I had fun making (so did they) and our valentine exchange party was so fun for everyone! I took sheet protectors for all the sizes of cards so they can keep them in ring binders.

Hi everyone! Yikes…going from one card in a post to 7…I’m crazy! Valentine crazy that is! haha This first card is a Clean and Simple (CAS) Valentine, made with Hero Arts Floral Heart Stamp and Cut set.

Another CAS card using the new die set from Memory Box called Distressed Heart Collage. The sentiment is from poppystamps Valentine Fairies stamp set.

This is one of my ‘how many dies can you get on a card’ card! hehe

Memory Box, poppystamps and that stripe heart is from Concord and 9th.

This one and the one below are from the Concord and 9th die set called Layers of Love…Black Nuvo drops on one and baby pearls on the other.

Memory Box Heart Frame die and poppystamps Tumbled Heart Collage die cards…

Hello! Back to share two more Valentines! I still have a few Valentines up my sleeve! XO

Starting with this new MB Heart Frame die…I die cut it from woodgrain pattern paper, keeping the frame and the pieces but not the hearts, from white cardstock, keeping the frame, from MB Black and red dot pattern paper, keeping the hearts and the frames. I glued all the frames together so there would be dimension…really didn’t take long at all. Using the little Darice glue bottles and Lineco PVA glue…really loving that stuff!

Then I die cut the MB Sentimental Happy Valentine’s Day die in Memory Box Licorice notecard, two layers is all this time. It’s a neat black color and matches the dot paper.

The center hearts are die cut from the new Wrapped Stitched Heart Frame die set. Using the smallest frame, die cutting it 3 times, gluing the frames together. Die cut the center heart with the smallest frame and gluing it in the center of the frames directly on the card base. Die cut two of the smallest frame in red dot for the plain hearts on both sides of the center heart frame. Adhering them with mounting tape. whew. Good thing there’s pictures! lol

Some Lawn Fawn Trimmings tied on the top. Turned out fun! Just something about woodgrain paper…reminder of the initials carved in the tree!

Entering my polka dot Valentine to the Simon Says Stamp Wednesday Challenge – layer it up.

Here I turned the poppystamps Tumbled Heart Collage into a balloon. HERE is the first card I made with it…fun layered up with other dies too!

Memory Box Pool and Cranberry notecards. I die cut the collage die in a Pool panel, trimming the right side so a bit of the cranberry card base is visible on the front too. I used the 3/4 in. mounting tape on the back of the panel to adhere it to the cranberry notecard.

Tied on a bit of bakers twine and used glue dots to hold the squiggles in place.

The sentiment is from the poppystamps Valentine Fairies stamp set. I do cut up my sentiment stamps…One slice so they fit right back together perfect! I love that about clear stamps…inked and stamped in the MISTI.

I like it! It’s ok to love all the card styles! Good thing because I do! hehe Both cards are A2 size!

Memory Box Pinpoint Heart, Cheery Collage and Have a Heart dies…

Hello and happy card making to you! Working on a little card stash for posting again…

I love this Pinpoint Heart die and all the dies that have the ‘things’ outside the cut lines for accenting the shape!

A very basic card…die cut the heart ‘off the page’. Die cut the pattern paper with a coordinating heart die from the Have A Heart die set. I used one just a touch larger than the heart from the Pinpoint heart die. You could use the Pinpoint Heart though instead.

Mount up the panel with Scotch Mounting tape…loving the ¾ inch huge roll. I have it on a spring rod between some shelves! lol So handy to snip off a piece and chop it up to the sizes I need. It’s just the right thickness too… or I could say ‘thinness’! lol Stick it to the card-base, add the pattern heart first though if you’re using the larger heart die.

Die cut the Cheery Flower Collage die in black and snip out the flowers. I glued the stems flat to the card and used little pieces of mounting tape behind the flowers.

I added the sticker strips from the ‘So Loved’ paper pack…links below for everything. There are several sentiments in the pack.

I added some twine and matte dots and called it done! yay! One more for the Valentine stash!
