I sponged in Memento Summer Sky ink for the water….Adirondak Latte for the top and bottom with the ink blending tool…Copic Sketch Markers for all the coloring after I stamped images from Stampin Up.  The sentiment is by Wordsworth rubber stamps.  One of the blogs I subscribe to,  showed a tutorial on this, (edited to add…found the blog,  here’s the link, Crafting the Web)  although I didn’t have any of the same stamps…cool…it was fun…see the splash in the water?  Should have titled this the “one that got away”!

Nickie’s Birdie from Inky Impressions…

Here’s a new super cute image to color by Inky Impressions… I loved coloring Nickie’s Birdie but I have never tried so hard to get a good photo in all my card creating life!  lol   Her shoes are sure cute in red!  I still remember the pair of red shoes I had in eleventh grade…oh,  I LOVED those shoes!

Maybe this close up will show the detail a little better….I hope! ugh!

Nickie is stamped with Memento Tuxedo Black ink and colored with Copic Sketch Markers.  I used the elongated rectangle nestabilities dies….I really use that size a lot…it surprises me! The border punches are from Martha Stewart, I just used the lattice part of the deep edger….pattern paper is Quite Contrary from My Minds Eye.  I made the flowers with Nellie Snellen punches.  The sentiment “a little birdie told me” is from Hero Arts.

I made this to play in the Sweet Stop Sketch Challenge Blog this week… a fun sketch,  although with just using the corner of the scallop 12×12 paper,  I had to take a little liberty with the sketch.

Meet “Honey“… isn’t she a doll!  Christine has drawn some adorable kids again!

The challenge this week on the All That Scraps Weekly Wednesday Challenge blog is to create a paper cone.

Honey is stamped with Memento Tuxedo Black ink, colored with Copic Sketch Markers,  Glossy Accents on her sunglasses, sentiment is Amy R’s Big words and additions stamped in Memento Tuxedo Black ink, waves are the Fiskars Boundary Waters border punch (the best waves ever IMO), Martha Stewart fence border punch, EK Success Beach/Castle border punch (punched out of fine sand paper), Sun is an old Paperkins EK Success medium punch,  kraft paper cord from JoAnns and Bazzill dot card-stock.

I like to link to other challenge blogs…this is a fun one this week… The ABC challenge blog – “u” for unused stash!  I could play in that forever! lol

I loved coloring this new Water Lili for Inky Impressions Challenge Blog this week.  She is so pretty!  I just love her hair and that hat is just perfect on her!

Crystal challenged us to create “Summer” –  I’m not ready for Summer myself  but it was great fun to look around for what I had to go with this Lili…

Midsummer Tilda…

Midsummer Tilda is from the Fairytale collection…just love the flowers in her hair and the way it waves.  Fun to color…trying distress ink coloring again…not sure why ‘cept that it’s a challenge! lol  I made this for the Just Magnolia Challenge blog,  a sketch this week. Love the simplicity of it too!

♥ Tilda is stamped with ♥ Versafine Onyx Black ink on ♥ hot press Arches watercolor paper (comes in a big sheet).  Then painted/colored in with ♥ Distress Inks. The papers are from ♥ K&Company… ♥ card-stock is prism and via…the cool paper ribbon is from a pack of ♥ Capella Basic Grey ribbon doilies…pretty cool stuff (purchased it at Archivers).  I put ♥ Martha Stewart ribbon  through the ribbon doily after I inked it good with ♥ walnut stain distress ink.  All the edges of everything are edged with  ♥ Walnut Stain distress ink and the ♥ Ink Blending Tool.  The ovals are die cut with ♥ oval Nestabilities dies. Can’t do words without using the ♥♥♥ Stamp a ma jig,  I ♥ that thing!!!  Tutorial on using it in my post right before this one.  “Thank You is a Hero Arts stamp D4903.

Happy National Scrapbooking Day!  I can say I used some scrapbooking paper today anyway!  And took some pictures!  Doesn’t matter that it was just of a card! lol
