I’m using the Grand Holiday Cabinet Card die set along with one die from the Layered Thinking of You Woodland Scene die set.

This was fun to make and so beautiful when finished. I used a cardstock that has a little bit of silver glitter in it. I watched a couple videos so I’d know how to use the sets to get the layers…I’m amazed at how many ways you can change this up!

I love the dimension…I used a silver and gold metallic pen to accent two of the frames.

The illusion of a Winter Wonderland!

The best part is, it collapses to fit in an envelope! Perfect for that special someone in your life that keeps your cards! lol

A Lawn Fawn I Scream, You Scream, Birthday Card…

Hi everyone! I should be doing housework but here I am writing a post because I’m behind getting birthday cards posted and it’s time for new things! ok – I wonder when there aren’t new things in this papercrafting industry!

Here’s a card for one of our grands that just turned 13!

I was inspired by Nancy’s card here. I don’t have the pattern paper but otherwise, I just plain copied her… such an awesome design!

I used oxide inks on Bristol Smooth card, some water splatters, die cutting and gluing… very straight forward!

I ended up with several photos so I’ll just post away…

So happy with the color combo… I think you could use any Summer colors though for this!

You are so cool, pretty much sums it up!

So go get inky! lol

Memory Box Underwater Scene Birthday Card…

Aren’t these fish cute?! lol Compared to the real thing, I’ll take paper fish any day!

I love this intricate frame from the Sailboat Frame set too… I didn’t have any trouble cutting any of these.

TIP: I do cut with the cutting blades of the dies facing up…try it if you have any trouble cutting your intricate dies. Be sure to angle your dies into your machine too. Eliminate the ‘speed bump’.

I layered/glued together 3 of the Underwater Scene. The fish are one layer but adhered with foam mounting tape.

In the background you’ll see I inlaid the Family of Fish die… fun look I thought…almost looks like a net but I like it a lot! (Even better in person)

I inkblended with Gather Twigs and the mini ink blending tool on the circle and the fish.

This photo shows the levels a little better. A2 size…it’s not thick, it will mail for one forever postage stamp! yay!

Simon Says Stamp Believe In You Release Cards…

Hello! I have two cards to share with you using a new die, Today Will Be Awesome, from Simon Says Stamp’s new release, Believe In You. Check out the release! It’s huge and lots of beautiful stamps and dies!

I’m also using their Nautical Stripe Stencil that was new with their last release. Here I used it straight up and down on Taylored Expressions Cookie Monster cardstock, inkblending on Cookie Monster ink with a mini ink blending tool. I love the tone on tone look!

I die cut the stenciled panel with a Memory Box Wrapped Stitch Rectangle die.

I die cut the new die in TE’s Toffee cardstock and since it’s thicker the letters stayed in the cut. Then I die cut it in Cookie Monster and glued the letters over the Toffee die cut. Easy placement that way..

The die comes with a rectangle die to back it too… that’s handy. I cut it from TE’s Confetti Cake cardstock.

I embellished with the Memory Box Scribble Leafy Branch Background die cut from TE’s Granny Smith cardstock and a few Doodlebug Matte Sprinkles.

For some reason I really like how this turned out! lol It’s not like me to have such a contrast of colors!

My next card…

Same die and stencil, I just did the stencil diagonal both directions, with Lawn Fawn Merman and Cilantro inks and Confetti Cake and Granny Smith cardstocks.

I used the next size down of the Wrapped Stitch Rectangles dies and added the Scribble Leafy Branch Outline die to the leaves this time.

I like this one too. I should mail them! Imagine that! lol

oh and here’s a picture of a couple backgrounds I made last month with this stencil but didn’t get anything made up. Too bad, they would’ve been great patriotic cards! So the stencil, 3 different ways!

Masculine Birthday with Taylored Expressions BBQ Grill…

We’ve had a series of birthdays again in the family. Here I was inspired by a buffalo plaid card I saw out there in card land. I know, super simple but I like it! Pretty self explanatory!

You could easy add to it. Below, I linked up the BBQ tools too.

I used the Cut Align Rulers set from My Sweet Petunia to cut the Happy Birthday saying. I do like them but I’m fairly savvy with a craft knife. I can cut a straight line a long a ruler! lol
