Memory Box Easel card and video…

So excited to share an Easel card with you today… it’s a multiple easel, Easel card!  I love working with Memory Box and Poppystamps dies and papers…to really see the card well in the video, change the ‘gear’ to HD and click the full screen.  It’s so much better BIG!  : )   This was my 3rd take… the first two…well,  I got the measurements and names right but messed up with construction!  oh well…be sure to note the ‘notes’!  Hope it inspires you to use your dies… hehe

I show the construction process and tell the sizes in the video…

I LOVE the addition of the kite to this scene!   It’s a beautiful day in the neighborhood!

You can swing for awhile… grab a friend and go for a bike ride and even rest for awhile on the awesome park bench!

Here’s a closeup of that FUN bike!

I used all Memory Box card-stocks… Water, Dill, Granny Smith, Vanilla Bean, Licorice, Crimson and White.  So much fun!  Holler if you have any questions… I think between the video and the photos it’s pretty much self explanatory!

Lazy Days of Summer…

❤ ❤ ❤ ❤ ❤

a close up of the pond…

Lazy Days of Summer is this weeks challenge at Tilda’s Town Challenges, HERE… an easy challenge to create with when Magnolia has so many fun images to play with!   I used a ton of stamps and dies on this Easel card with Easel add-ons.

Here‘s my video from last year when I made this card. I wish you could see it IRL!  It’s so much cuter!

The pond is adorable… EK Success small paper shaper punch fish… the water ripples and lily pads are from a Cottage Cutz die, HERE.

I used Hooked Tilda, Little Miss MuuMuu, Barbed Wire Background, Magnolia Branch, Lazy Summer Days, Picnic Quilt,  Floral Swirl Corner and Clover with Flowers, at Tilda’s Town store HEREHEREHEREHEREHEREHERE, and HERE

I used the Quilting Creations crimper on the kraft strip for ground… link below. Edges inked with Walnut Stain Distress ink and the ink blending tool.

I stamped with Memento Tuxedo Black ink on Hammermill Color Copy 80# Cover card-stock and colored with Copic Sketch Markers.

The sky is inked in with Tumbled Glass Distress ink and the ink blending tool

Mats/layers were all cut with the Perfect Layers Tools.

I just took this picture with natural light…a little different angle…notice the little birdie on the fence wire I added in these last two photos… an EK Success puffy sticker!

and one more!  eek!  sorry about all the pictures!

I don’t know anything about animals but this cow is so cute and was super fun and easy to color!  I have to say I love this scene!  So fun to use stamps and dies I’ve been collecting!

Happy Easter…

I don’t have a new card to share today but I pulled this Happy Easter card out of the “archives”…   So cute!

We’re enjoying the weather in IA… 6 of the grands here to play yesterday afternoon… so fun!  A couple of the girls and I cut scrap paper into useable sizes part of the time… fun to see that paper stack up.  Now if I could just get that card finished that I started last week! ugh!  I keep moving it out of the way to do something else!  lol

Take care and ttul!

Spring Has Sprung…

Spring Has Sprung  is a NEW set for March from CC Designs.  I combined it with the NEW Swiss Pixies Bunny Lucy and  the ticket stamp from the NEW Spring Logos set.

I stamped these cuties with Memento Tuxedo Black ink on Hammermill Color Copy Cover card-stock and colored with Copic Sketch Markers.   All the grays are the T’s.  I made an Easel card with one add on.  I have a couple videos on making this type of card… HERE (2 min. long)  and HERE is a video with two add-ons (3 min. long)…

March is blowing in like a lion in Iowa this week… Sunday started with snow all day and cold…yesterday the high was 74˚!!!  Crazy!  Is it only in Iowa you can experience all four seasons in one week?! lol   Have a good one!

I used the Martha Stewart grass border punch but I couldn’t find it to link to,  so I linked to the Magnolia Doohickey grass die and the My Favorite Things grass die.
