Let’s Celebrate! This week’s challenge @ Tilda’s Town.

I colored Birthday Tilda with Distress ink pad reinkers on Canson Montval cold press watercolor paper. The pattern paper is from the Basic Grey Blush 6×6 paper pad. I used two DooHickeys dies, Twisted Swirl and Heart Flower Lace Border.

I edged the papers with Walnut Stain Distress ink and the ink blending tool. Stickles on the candles!

Tilda is such a cutie with her yummy chocolate cake! A Viva Decor pearl pen for the dots in the background and the pearl is from Magnolia too.

I used the Perfect Layer Tools 1/16th inch ruler for matting… link and discount code in my sidebar…

I used an image from MarkerPOP! by Sylvia Zet called Peggy and I watercolored her with Distress Ink Markers.

I used the Perfect Layers Tools to mat Peggy, the fishtail banners and around the perimeter of the card. For the fishtail banners, I cut both sides with the 1/16th in. ruler then cut up the center of the tail area with a scissors, then I was able to use the 1/16th ruler on each side of the tail.

The pattern paper is from Simple Stories. Flower and alphabet dies are from Quickutz.

Magnolia, Tilda’s Town Challenge…

Time for Tilda’s Town’s weekly challenge…this week…’use a Magnolia background stamp’. I used Tilda’s Summer Car with Cool Edwin from the Sweet Rainbow Collection and colored with Distress Ink Marker watercoloring. The Happy Birthday sentiment is from the You Are Special collection.

I used the Deconstructed Sketch #101 and will link to it, but my image was too big to cut into a circle. I love fishtails but I didn’t have enough room, so I used an old Quickutz arrow die to mimic them and thought that went with the car. It was definitely my inspiration but I did have to change it up to work for my image!

The cloud background is inked with Rosies Roadshow cloud stencil and Ranger Adirondack light blue ink.

Magnolia, Tilda’s Town, Anything Goes!

Anything Goes is the new challenge this week at Tilda’s Town Challenges! Easy week to ink up your Magnolia stamps and get creating! We’d love to have you link up!

I used Tilda with Kite… inked her with Ranger Archival black ink, then stamped her on Canson Montval, Cold Press, 140 lb. watercolor paper and colored her with Distress Ink Markers (watercolor style).

I used a NEW die from Memory Box, Cottage in the Woods (added an extra tree in the foreground), Magnolia, DooHickeys Heart Swirl and Clover and Flower dies. I use the omnigrid ruler to measure down for placing the focal image and the Perfect Layers Ruler for the 1/16th mat for Tilda. An EK Success scallop border punch, love the mini size of it… The birthday wishes circle is an old Inkadinkado stamp.

Tilda with Heart Arrows… Sweet Stamping Pixies Challenge

Time for Sweet Stamping Pixies monthly challenge! After a year of challenges… Sweet Stamping Pixies is going to close. Thank you Jay Jay for a fun year of challenges and meeting new gals! I think Tilda with Heart Arrows (cupid) is quite the cutie! I spent so much time coloring her that I ran out of time, so she is just matted with card-stocks and the Perfect Paper Layers tools…love them, I DO!!! Layered on pattern paper and then to kraft card-stock. The card measures 6×6. Tilda is colored with Distress Ink reinkers on Langton Hot Press watercolor paper.

So many fun challenges going on that I can link to! yea!
