Guest Designer for November at All That Scraps….

Have I been having a blast cutting up rubber the last few weeks!  The November release for CC Designs is over the top cute and fun to create with.  I love Winter/Christmas images!   Amy R from All That Scraps emailed and asked me to be their guest designer for November and I wanted to,  but was a little apprehensive of whether or not I could do it! But how could I resist!!!  I couldn’t!  So here I am today with two cards created with some of the November release.  Each Monday for the month of November I will be back with projects from the November new stamps!

Meet “Nora” one of the new Holiday Swiss Pixies…dressed for the cold and snow that’s sure to come!

For this card I used this wonderfully, Winterish pattern paper from American Crafts.  The snowflakes are embossed already!  I cut a strip from the Gingerbread House sheet and punched the bottom with an EK Success Slim border punch. The snowflakes and holly are from an EK Success Winter punch set that is just new.  The pine branch is a Martha Stewart punch.  I used mini brads for the berries with a little slash of white pen.  I do like to dry emboss lines in my leaves and I use a mouse pad and a stylus to do that.  The sentiment stamps I used here is new from All That Scraps also,  watch for the set called Christmas card Greetings!  I used the Bazzill itty bitty brads for her pigtail holders…they’re about 1/16th of an inch and I LOVE them!

Meet the critters from “Christmas Time” set…they are having a time getting ready for Christmas!

The kitty decorating the tree, the bunny hanging an ornament and the doggy getting all wound up in the lights! I used everything in the set except the words “Merry Christmas” to make this Diorama card. Not sure you can really see how fun it is by my photos! I did mine different than the tutorial…figures…hehe…I thought they left too much at the sides, so I cut it down to 1 1/4 inches. I also made it a 5×7 size.

I’m guessing they are sure to make you smile!  I’ve sure enjoyed coloring them and more to come!

Copic Challenge #15 – Red Hair

angelicasnowman09
I’ve colored Angelica with my copic markers for the 15th Copic Creations Challenge. I used E08, 15, 17, 18, 19, 21 for her red hair.
This is an adorable new stamp from Inky Impressions rubber stamps. Be watching for the release with a blog hop by the Inkettes on November 6th! Hurrah…love Winter stamps! Nicole, Inky Impressions owner graciously let me use this new image for this challenge. I have some other red-heads on my blog here, here, here and here.

If you click on the picture of the card, it takes you to my flickr account page and  you can select a larger size to see the plastic straw that is his mouth!!!  How fun is that!  It’s even a bendy straw! lol  Right above the photo on the flickr page, in the middle it says “all sizes”,  click there and select large and you can see the straw better!  This is really a 5×7 (A-7)  size card but of course you can’t load it that large to your blog.

Mary is offering an outstanding prize this month to 7KidsCollegeFund online store. 7 Kids has everything your little heart desires in the way of stamping and coloring supplies and the prize is $35 to spend there! woohoo…bummer, I want to play! lol  Don’t miss out and see all the details at Copic Creations Challenge blog! The Eligiblity rules are on the right and the other design team submissions are in the post! Awesome red-heads! Some of you know we have a bunch in our family! Two of our three daughters are red-heads and four of our nine grandchildren are red-heads! Just found out yesterday that we’ll have another one next year end of June. I need to stay young! lol

Daisy D’s pattern paper (missing their stuff) and Redlead stamps…great combo for this Christmas card. And the sentiment is from Hero Arts. Thought it’d be fun to post some of my older Christmas cards while I’m working on some other cards that I can’t post yet!

Here’s an umbrella for me! Some of you know, I love umbrellas…can’t be caught without one!
Yes, even in the Winter in the snow! So I identify with this cute Winter Wonderland girl from Sugar Nellie! I am playing in the Sugar Bowl Challenge this time! So fun and I liked the sketch. The other requirement is to use lace…well, I just happen to still have this package of paper lace from K & company. Love it! She is colored with copic sketch markers (link to shop copic in the sidebar) and I used  Making Memories pattern paper,  Cat’s Life Press Merry Christmas stamp,  Nestabalities frame die, Prima leaves, Paper Studio red brads and the heart button is from Doodlebug I think!

Here’s a close up of my Winter Wonderland girl….
