All That Scraps June Preview Day 4…

Focus…Shoot! Camera Birgitta loves taking pictures! She’s so cute with her camera and sunglasses!  Camera Birgitta is NEW for June from CC Designs and will be available tomorrow in the store, HERE.  I used the NEW Wish You Were Here Sentiment set for “vacation memories”… in the store tomorrow, HERE. I stamped vacation memories on the CC Cutters banner die from this set, HERE.  The pattern paper is a new 6×6 pad from Echo Park called Summer Days, in the store HERE.  I want the pad called “Splash” next! lol   The stamp store 30 minutes south of me has the pads too and the 12×12’s!  I had to buy five sheets of the cloud paper! What in the world!   I used it behind the card in the pictures.

Tim Holtz filmstrip die in the corner… I just used a piece of the pattern paper behind it.  Grass die is Magnolia Doohickey’s new die,  in the store HERE.

SNAP!  gotcha! Say Cheese! Camera Birgitta is stamped on Neenah Classic Crest Super Smooth 80# card-stock with Memento Tuxedo Black ink and colored with Copic Sketch Markers.  Hair – E50, 23, 25, 27, 29,  Skin – E000, 00, 21, diluted R20 for cheeks,  Shirt & shoes – pinks until it kinda matched the paper!  Shorts – YG21, 95.

All That Scraps June Release Preview Day 3

New for June is CC Designs Welcome Birgitta and CC Designs sentiment set, Wish You Were Here.  I love her hair with this style bangs! So CUTE!  They’ll be in the store Sunday,  HERE and HERE but in the meantime, click over to All That Scraps blog, HERE, to see what the other gals created and to link up for a chance to win this AWESOME new sentiment set!  Tomorrow we’ll be back with more Swiss Pixies from the release!

Welcome Birgitta is inked up with Memento Tuxedo Black Ink, stamped on Beckett Expression Super Smooth 80# cover card-stock and colored with Copic Sketch Markers.  Hair – E50, YR30, 31, Skin – E000, 00, 21 and diluted R20, Dress – YG21 and then YG 95 tip to tip with YG21, Shoes – E40’s, Flowers – RV32, 34, 69

I stitched all the layers, the pattern paper is MME 6×6 lime twist pad,  Bazzill and SU card-stocks, Hero Arts gems, CC Designs Butterfly die… I even finished the inside but totally spaced off taking a picture of it!  Oh, that’s an EK Success border punch,  I’ll find the name and link it up below.

CC Designs May Release Review…

I decided to make a baby gift enclosure card with Amy Young’s Blueberry Flitter Friend!  So adorable and such expressive eyes!  I’m loving the Amy R Great Greetings set, NEW this month.  Just can’t get enough of the teeny sentiments!  Lots of circle Nestabilities went into creating this Round Easel card… it’s not very big…a little over 4 in. wide is all!  I used some flower punches,  stacked ’em up, glued ’em together for the stopper… a few pearls on the butterfly and with the sentiment, from Hero Arts.   I paper pieced her clothes with the new 6 x 6 pattern paper pad from MME called Happy Go Lucky.  Blueberry is stamped on Paper Trey Ink white card-stock with Memento Black ink and colored with Copic Sketch Markers.

NEW stamps for May…

Cute Birgitta, Christine’s newest Swiss Pixie for CC Designs May release. Cute is right and so fun to color! The Stonewall is new this month too… Birgitta is always needing someplace to rest! I stamped Birgitta on PaperTrey Ink Card-stock with Memento Tuxedo Black ink and then masked her and stamped the stonewall. A tutorial I made that shows how to do it is HERE. I used Copic Sketch Markers BG70, 72, YR20, 31, YR21, 23, 24 for her clothes. Her hair is the E50’s. Distress inks applied with the ink blending tool…Broken China, Pumice Stone and Weathered Wood, in that order. Finally purchased the Heavy Coats and Clarks Thread at JoAnns so I tried it out.. I like it!

I LOVE text and the NEW Great Greetings set for May is AWESOME! My FAVORITE so far!!! See the tiny phrase on the stem of the flower?! EASY to ink up one part or the other because there is plenty of room to just get ink on the Big part of the sentiment or the small phrase part of the sentiment! Using my trusty stamp a ma jig… you can place the text anywhere you want! YEA! I use my little square Versafine Black ink pad… so nifty! lol See what I mean?!!! So cool!!!

See the butterfly die cut? NEW this month from CC Designs, CC Cutters! Two beautiful butterflies on the die! I cut a teeny strip of dark brown card-stock to make the antennae.

Then the postal set is NEW… very cool…I love text… I love postal!
