Birthday Surprise!

Surprise!  I’m back, three days in a row!  Amazing! lol Today’s Preview for CC Designs is the NEW Sweet November Birthday Fairwees release.  I used Piper’s Surprise.  Over on the ATS blog, HERE,  you can see all the other adorable new images,  six in all!  Be sure to link up for a chance to win on all three Preview Day posts!

I went with a CAS card today…although the simple part sure can’t count toward the amount of time spent! I find that clean and simple takes me almost as long as the other kind of cards I normally do!!!  Wacko! It doesn’t help when you make booboos!  haha!

The sentiment is from CC Designs AmyR Stamps Mixed Messages Sentiment set… the embossing is done with Nestabilities Labels 18.  Piper is stamped with Memento Tuxedo Black ink on Papertrey ink select white card-stock and colored with Copic Sketch markers.  Hair E50, YR31, 21, 23, 24 and E37; Skin E000, 00, 21 and a diluted (w/R00) R20 for the cheeks; Present BG01, 02, 05; Bow W3, R35, 37, 39.  White Signo  Gel pen for the white dots.

All That Scraps still has a clearance sale going on,  link over in my sidebar, close to the top.  New Products too!  Super sweet new stamps by Sylvia Zet, postmarks  and  neat paper pads! HERE‘s the New Products category in the store if you want to see!

Singing Pumpkins….

Look at these adorable caroling pumpkins!!! They are called the Pumpkin Quartet! They just make me smile!  New cling rubber stamps from Printworks, HERE…don’t you ❤ it! I colored the pumpkins with Printworks Designer ink stamp pads, Tangerine, Sunflower Yellow, Ivy and Oak brown. The window and around the window I painted with the Granite Gray stamp pad ink. There is a video about painting with Printworks designer ink on the new website under Creative Lab and then techniques, HERE.  I cut out the windows with my EK Success really sharp scissors. I stamped the images and sentiments with Versafine Onyx Black ink.  I used the full size pad for the window and pumpkins and the little square pad for the sentiment this time because I separated the  lines… it’s real easy to ink them up separately with the little square pad… love that thing!  Yes,  I used my stamp a ma jig…I tell you,  I can’t stamp without it!

Here’s a close up of the window…

the inside…

you can see I mounted a piece of back card-stock on the inside left with mounting squares…love these 3-L squares…they are so nice…the backing paper comes off so easy and if you’re careful and don’t press them down right away,  you can usually carefully pull it back up if you didn’t get the piece right where you wanted it and reposition, then push them down nice and secure.

I’m linking my card to The Secret Crafter Saturday Challenge blog, the theme is Halloween… to Stamps and Fun, the theme is anything goes… to Crafting for all Seasons, the theme is fall colors and to I Brake For Challenges, the theme is Fallin’ for you.

Here’s a picture at an angle. Hopefully you can see the layers…

Join the choir of pumpkins and sing a song of Halloween! Hope we made you sing and smile!!!  Thanks for stopping by…’preciate it!

a Love chair…

I needed a wedding card and I love Printworks stamps… so I started thinking and this is what I came up with! One of my favorite chair stamps, the name of it is “Made for Comfort”,  gotta love that!  Here’s another card  I made with it and a different Printworks sentiment.

the card base is a window card cut with an Accucut A7 convert a card die and the window  die….

I stamped the chair on Bazzill green card-stock three times, cut them out and layered them up… I added some copic shading with my sketch markers… love that! The heart I stamped six times, cut them out and layered them, three together to make them more like chipboard hearts/pillows!

Last week I posted that Printworks has a new webstore!  YEA!  It’s great but even better now!!!  FASTER server! hurrah!!!   Here’s the info that came via email newsletter…while you’re there at the store, sign up!  FREE shipping on all orders until Sept. 30th!!!
