Inky Impressions Challenge #24…

The challenge this week at Inky Impressions Challenges blog is to create a gift bag.  Mine is the kind you stick a cellophane bag inside of with a treat or small trinket.

Rachel, colored with copic sketch markers,  from Inky Impressions rubber stamps is enjoying the season! She doesn’t even look cold!!!  I used Basic Grey, Eskimo Kisses pattern paper,  Martha Stewart icicle border punch,  Hero Arts sentiment stamp, teeny 1/16th in. brads (love these little things), McGill snowflake punch,  Frosted Lace stickles, Diamond Dust glitter from the Art Glittering System and the tree rows stamp is from Memory Box.

Here is a photo of the markers I used…

And here is a close up of Rachel…

Monday Guest Designer Spotlight at All That Scraps…

Two cards with the November release stamps from All That Scraps today. I have really enjoyed designing for them this month!
First up is a card created with stamps from HR Designs Otis and Milo set. The pattern paper is by Bo Bunny.

I colored with copic sketch markers… here’s a photo of the colors I used.

I used the new EK Success snowflake punch again,  it comes with a holly punch in the set also.  In the center of the snowflakes is a snowball looking thing by Mark Richards that I purchased at Archivers.  White w/glitter all over it…wish you could see that.  I used Diamond Dust glitter by the Art Glittering System on the furry part of the hat and the stocking.  I love the colors of this card and I had so much fun coloring it…oh,  I always say that but it’s so true! lol  If you know me at all,  you know I don’t care for animals at all! So it’s surprising I love coloring these!  lol  Circle punches by EK Success and McGill.

My next card is Sayuri with a flower by Chubby Pencil and sold at All That Scraps.  Another delightful image to color!

I didn’t do the marker colors for this card… holler at me if you want to know.  I colored until I was happy with the red color with the pattern paper…I know…crazy! 12 reds or so… lol  I just love the face on this one and the flower in her hair! The paper is by American Craft and Prism card-stock. The photo turn is from Creative Impressions.  “Just for you”  is from the Fall sentiment set at All That Scraps.

I’m entering this card in the Crazy 4 challenges sketch challenge this week.  Here’s the sketch…

Elf Lili writes Santa….

I love this stamp from Inky Impressions,  Lili’s Cleaning Day! I just had to make her into a Christmas card. I’m joining the challenge #32, to use Green, Red and White at Colour Create, and Kraftin’ Kimmie Stamps challenge to use circles. November is my last month on the Inky Impressions design team.  A design team call is going on now…check it out if you love these gals!

Hope you’re LAUGHING!!!  hohoho
I colored Lili with copic sketch markers, photo below. The pattern papers I used are from an old Christmas 6×6 set by Memory Box. The history outline paper stamp is by Teresa Collins,  comes as a cling mount stamp.  The teeny tree is an old Hero Arts from one of those tubs of 18 or so stamps.  The holly punch is medium size and it’s not marked who it’s from…I think it’s pretty common though. Hope she makes you smile!  I sure had fun coloring her!!!

bells.holly.bow09

The challenge at Copic Creations blog this time is coloring the color “gold”.
I Brake For Stamps provided the images for the design team and is sponsoring an awesome giveaway! Be sure to check out the details on the blog and play a long with us. WOW, I’m jealous of the winner for sure this time!
I really enjoyed coloring this Christmas bell image. Course it helps that I love red, green and holly! I used copic sketch markers and here’s the list….
Bells…Y00, 15,26,28, YR24, W3, E35
Mistletoe…YG91, G85
Holly…G20, 24, 28, 29
Bow…R20, 24,27,59, E07, W5

EK Success holly punch, Martha Stewart pine branch punch, sentiment is computer generated,  Cuttlebug embossing folder, Coluzzle circle cutter, this needed larger circles than the nestabilities.  The edge of the circle is aged with Weathered Wood distress ink.

The Never Ending Card….

Have you heard of it before?  Very fun and easy to make…here’s the video I watched and liked the best of all the ones out there…
The first photo is the front…

Then it opens like a double door to this…

Then you fold the top over and the bottom back to this…

Then you open it like double doors again to this…write your message here…

Then fold the top over and the bottom back again and you are back to the front!

Here’s a close up of the front…tried to capture the sparkle from the Glimmer Mist and spica clear glitter pen.

A very fun and easy project…well, challenging to figure out what to put where! I did one that I put pattern paper on all the squares and rectangles and that is cool too.
