Meet Marci…

Marci with Rose is one of my favorites of this new collection from Lala Land Crafts HERE.  She is so versatile, looks great in ANYTHING, and can be used for almost any occasion!

I stamped Marci on Papertrey Ink white card-stock with Memento Tuxedo Black ink HERE and colored with Copic Sketch markers HERE.  The background stamp is from the Magnolia Fairy-tale collection HERE, also stamped with Memento Tuxedo Black ink HERE and colored with Copic Sketch Markers HERE.  I used a bunch of pinks and greens and blues and the grays are the N0’s.  The little stamp running around the perimeter of the circle is from Technique Tuesday’s Irony clear stamp set.  The sentiment is an old PSX stamp.  The crystal chandelier garland is from Magnolia HERE.  Both border punches are by Martha Stewart.  The background rose stamp is from Printworks HERE, (email/phone Nicole for J1826 Antique Rose Pattern) stamped with Ranger Sea Shells Ocean Aqua dye ink. whew!  did you get all that?!!! lol

Marci’s sweet little Panda is FREE when you buy all 5 of the new Marci stamps!  gotta ♥ that!

Christmas Memories….

of singing carols and sledding with family and friends!

I used a CD case and created a card in a case!  In the past I’ve used the CD cases to make miniature Scrapbook page displays of our grandchildren…very fun!

the right side…with Tilda singing carols and poinsettia…

the left side…with Edwin on sled. holly and Doohickey tag die…

What the case looks like outside…

The pattern paper is from Graphic 45,  their 8×8 pad. The images are all cut out,  stamped with Memento Tuxedo black ink on Beckett Expression 80# card-stock and colored with copic sketch markers.  Tilda is colored with the V90’s. Edwin BG 0’s and Warm grays.  The snow is Marvy’s snow marker. It’s like a paint pen,  apply it, let it dry good and heat it with your heat tool.  I did put Frosted Lace stickles  over the top of the snow but it’s hard to see.

Just found this new blog, Technique challenge!  Create a Scene… well,  I love that, so I linked up HERE!

Thanks for stopping by…Tilda and Edwin love company! lol

Fun News and Take a Seat Emma and Trevor…

The new issue, Cozy Autumn Magnolia Ink magazine arrived in my mailbox yesterday… I flipped through it thinking I’d be back later to examine…stopped to read the last page Notice board and my eye moved over to the inside back cover and lo and behold,  THERE WAS ONE OF MY CARDS!!!!  I’m sure you could have heard my jaw hit the floor! lol   If you don’t have the magazine,  some of the online stores are showing it in the picture for their pre-orders of the next Christmas issue…HERE is the post on my blog with the card.  I’m still pinching myself and chuckling out-loud now and then!

I have a card to share with you today.  Rose Emma and Sitting Trevor from the Take a Seat Kit.

Emma and Trevor are stamped with Memento Tuxedo Black ink and colored with Copic Sketch Markers.  I used Beckett Expression 80# card-stock for stamping and coloring on for this card. The pattern paper is from American Crafts.  I used some Bazzill card-stock to make the rolled roses. (punched 1  3/4 in. and 1  1/4 in. circles, cut them into swirls and rolled them up)  The leaves are a new Magnolia die… isn’t it cool!  It’s called Bon Voyage Foliage. The sentiment is from a CC Designs Cookie Crumbs Country Shelf set.

My other Take A Seat Kit cards are HERE, HERE, HERE and HERE.

I love this sentiment,  so I’ll close by retyping it here… “Live with a happy heart”  Thanks for stopping by!
