Simon Says Stamp… STAMPtember!!!

Hi everyone!  Back to stamping and color pencil coloring. Fall images are so fun to color!  Bring on the brown, orange, green and gold!

I used the NEW Pumpkin Blessings stamp set from Simon Says Stamp and the STAMPtember release.  I said this on my last SSS post and here I am saying it again.  I love how Simon Says Stamp stamps stamp!  I used the MISTI.  Stamping is so sharp/crisp!

There are dies to go with the stamp set and they’re detabbed!  I don’t have them but you have the choice to order the combo or the stamps just by themself.

I used a Simon Says Stamp embossing folder, Margot Tile.  Then just a light touch of ink blending over it with Gathered Twigs Distress ink.

Several options for sentiments in the set!

Have you checked out the release?  AND everyday there is a new release of collaborations!  So fun!  What do you think?  I’ve ordered one day so far but the temptation! lol

Thank you so much for stopping by my blog today!

Simon Says Stamp Happy Camper Release…Out of this World Card…

Hello everyone!  Have you had a chance to check out the latest Simon Says Stamp Happy Camper Release?  Lots of good product!

You know what I love so much about Simon Says Stamp’s Clear Stamps?  They are made in the USA and stamp up the best of any I’ve ever owned!  Thank you SSS for keeping production at home!  I appreciate it so much!  I love a sharp, crisp image!

I stamped and colored the images in this set with Memento Tuxedo Black ink using the MISTI stamp postitioner.  I colored with Copic markers after cutting them out.   There are coordinating dies but I don’t own them so I used the Scan n Cut to cut them out, then I colored.

I made the background on Neenah Classic Crest using Oxide inks and the ink blending brushes.  I went with expected colors but wouldn’t it be fun to use a person’s favorite colors?!  After Inking I did the water droplets trick.  I spray water into my hand then clap over the card panel to distribute the droplets.  Leave the drops a minute than press on a paper towel…let it dry.

I just received these new Sizzix  Circle cutting plates!  I haven’t used them yet so I used the largest one as a photo prop this time!  Kinda gives a spacey, planetary feel! lol  I’ll link them below.  I will use them for die cutting because I love having smaller plates, saves time!

Such cute images and easy to color too!  Hope these characters made you smile!

Thank you so much for stopping by today!

Spellbinders Copperplate Happy Anniversary Card…

Hi everyone and happy anniversary to someone somewhere!  A new collection at Spellbinders for the Betterpress machine! Copperplate calligraphy sentiments.  Happy Birthday, Happy Everything, Heartfelt Sympathy and Hope You’re Feeling Better pretty much covers everything!

Here’s a close up of how beautiful this impresses!  I used Silver Delicata ink.  It’s so great that my old ink pads work too!

I love it!  At one point I took some classes to attempt to write like this but alas life makes it hard to practice as much as it takes to master it.  I still like to do lettering though!   I guess making cards took up priority! lol

I die cut the panel with one of the dies from the Spellbinders Emerald Cut Labels and Tag die set and mounted it on a 5×7 navy cardstock panel.  Using the Scor-Pal I embossed the corners because it needed something! The card base is A7 size white cardstock.

The flower dies I used are from the Spellbinders Club Blooms set from January of 2023.  Timeless!

A traditional looking, Hallmark size type card!

Thank you so much for stopping by today!  I have to get started on Christmas in July!  How are you doing?  Anything Christmas yet? hehe

Spellbinders Classic Road Legends Release…

Hi everyone!  It’s been so long since I posted I hope I haven’t forgotten how!  It’s been a busy Spring!  It’s time to get back to work though!

My two cards today are part of the May release from Spellbinders.  So much potential with these sets for all the men’s occasions we make for!

Die cutting and a little stamping is all for this one! On the inside I stamped “Have a wheel-y great day!”

A2 size.  I loved the green color of this cardstock but neither my phone or my Nikon could capture it right!  It’s much better in hand!  Sun is bright this week I guess! The top and bottom strips and center are silver mirror cardstock.

My next card uses the NEW Timeless Truck!

These colors aren’t right either but oh well! lol  Use colors you like is all I can say!

Here I used the NEW stencil set, Scenic Drive,  for the background… I love stenciling like this!

Then die cutting and gluing the truck together.  I love that it’s so easy to tell where the parts go!

Then a little stamping again with the NEW Cruisin’ By Sentiments.  It comes with the dies too!  I stamped on the inside too.  Forgot to take a picture… “Thought you could use a little pick up”.

I made this a square card but it would be easy to change to an A2, A6 or A7 size to mail with one stamp.

Comment or email if you have any questions!

Thank you so much for stopping by to see my cards!

Simon Says Stamp You Are My Favorite Release…

Hello!  I know… long time no see!  I’m still here! My card today is using products from the last two Simon Says Stamp releases.  You Are My Favorite and Rain or Shine.  It turned out so fun!

A  5 ½ inch square card.

I heat embossed the NEW Wavy Background with Clear  embossing powder, then ink blended the panel with Distress and Oxide inks to make it look like water.

Birthday and Get Whale sentiments in this cute Get Whale Soon stamp set.

I stamped with Tuxedo Black Memento ink on Hammermill cardstock.  I don’t have the die set so I used my Scan n Cut. Then I colored with Copic Sketch Markers.  I forgot to add white gel pen accents though!  I think that would make it the little bit extra!  oops!

I used the thin mounting tape that I love to adhere the images to the card panel.  The little bubbles are glued directly to the panel.

Lots of pictures!  The color is more saturated in real life.

Such cute images! Whales with personality, sure to cheer for any occasion!

I hope this finds you enjoying Spring and all the pretty flowers.  I have hanging baskets on the back porch and ferns on the front porch but we haven’t had much sun yet.  I have some hydrangea bushes that the buds always get frozen off over the Winter or something so they have to start over from the ground up. ugh.  We’ll have lots of buds by the time it freezes again in the Fall!  Crazy!

Check out the new releases!  I’ll link below.

We’re getting ready for a wedding in two weeks!  eek!  So fun!  Our oldest granddaughter is getting married!  I love the shoes I bought to wear! lol

I’ll be posting a wedding card I hope!  I’ll show the tag I made for her shower then too!

take care and ttul!
