Spellbinders Bundle of Joy Card…

Welcome Baby!  Such a super cute set from Spellbinders Little Smiles Collection for March. I don’t need baby cards very often but this set will be perfect when I do.  So adorable!

I finally caved and bought a Betterpress set!  I’ve been faking it with the how to’s from you tube but I have to say this is SO MUCH EASIER! lol  I’m glad I bought it!

I used the new Little Sentiments Betterpress set.  It’s great… you do a bunch of sentiments at once, die cut them all at once too!  Not my normal way of doing things because I’m not one to have the bowl of unused stuff on my table to work from.  I like all these though! lol

The purple of my card is brighter than it’s showing up in my photos. I don’t know how to fix that.  I used my camera instead of my phone this time.

So basic die cutting here, easy compared to taking and editing pictures! hohoho  I love the stork’s usps old fashioned hat!  I don’t know if they wear these anymore.  Last week I saw the carrier and he had green hair soooo I guess they’re leprechauns now! haha

It’s an A2 size card. I used the Essential Arches Die set for the panel.  The cloud border and stars are in the Bundle of Joy set. Super fun!  There’s another cute set from this Little Smiles collection I’ll be showing you soon.  There’s an embossing folder and Betterpress plate also! I’ll link the whole collection below.

Thank you so much for stopping by today! Happy cardmaking week to you!

CAS Baby Card for Freshly Made Sketches and Woodblock Wednesday Challenges…

Hi everyone! It’s been awhile since I made a baby card!  When I saw the sketch for Freshly Made Sketches I immediately thought of baby clothes on a line.  Then I saw the Woodblock Wednesday Challenge and thought of my drawers of woodblock baby stamps!

I stamped the woodblock onesie in Memento Black ink using my old stampamajig to space the onesies on a 3  15/16  x  5  3/16 in. card panel.  I hand drew the line with a black micron pen. Colored with Copic Sketch Markers. I made a mask, using the negative and stamped some wood peg stamps on the onesies.

I die cut the largest Memory Box Wrapped Scalloped Rectangles die in black cardstock to mount the panel to.

The onesie is from Savvy Stamps, 1026C Hanging Onesie.

The sentiments are from Lawn Fawn Little Bundle clear stamp set.  On the inside I heat embossed in white powder on black, Lots of Love (and more laundry). I stamped them in the MISTI with black ink, can’t remember which one! oops!

A2 size…clean, simple and CUTE!

Linking to some challenges…

Woodblock Wednesday Challenge – oops…there’s no challenge there right now but still giving it a shout out because it triggered me to use a wood mount stamp!

NBUS #71 – Never Before Used Stff!

Simply Clean and Simple February – anything goes CAS, love and /or hearts

The Neglected Stuff Challenge – Kick-Off  (new challenge)  everything on my card has been neglected sad to say!

Baby Boy Card…

It’s been a long time since I made a baby card!  Years ago I saw a card made up with this turtle die and I kept it for inspiration!

The turtle is an old Provo Craft die set… the snips and snails and 100% boy is from an older Close To My Heart clear stamp set.

The pattern paper is old Memory Box 6×6 pattern paper!  Somewhere in the 2003 ish time! eek!

It makes me smile!  So it was use NEW/OLD stuff last week finally!

One of our granddaughter’s has a Beeswax Candle making business… so I die cut a take out box and added this cute little duckie in with the check/gift.

This picture was before I was finished, had to make sure it’d fit first! I added ribbon and tissue paper and the check! lol

Another miracle from God!  A precious baby boy!  ❤

Thanks for stopping by today!  ttul!

Taylored Expressions NEW dies, felt and stitching!

Pam Sparks April bloomin 3

Hello everyone!  Posting two cards using NEW for April TE products and one using last month’s NEW products.  EEK, time can sure get away from a gal!

I love stitching with Taylored Expressions felt! Wonderful colors and holds up beautifully.  I stitched all this without any die cut holes, except for the four on the button. So fun just to do a running stitch around the petals and leaves and backstitch down the centers of the leaves and flower scallop center.

Love the pinks against the white embossed Floral Vine background.  TE Lollipop card-stock for the die cut Hello frame.

Pam Sparks Sky High Airplane

And…we’re off!  I just love this card! The pilot is so cute with the scarf blowing out behind.  So cute…so fun!  This could easy be a congrats card for graduation, retirement or an encouragement card.

I inked the background with a mini ink blending tool and Salty Ocean Distress ink.  Stamped the sentiment with the MISTI and Versafine Onyx Black ink. Die cut the Flying High die in card-stocks and glued it together.

Pam Sparks Elephant Parade 2

Time for a parade!  An elephant parade! This die paired with TE’s baby papers and grass die made for a quick and easy ‘welcome baby’ card!  I die cut the elephants 3 times and glued them together…you sure wouldn’t have to, I just like that chipboard thickness ‘look’.

My next card is a lot of things I love!  Kraft card-base, lots of white, a little bit of black and super cute images and sentiment!
Pam Sparks Hippo Birdy
Today TE is releasing the Hippo Birdy die set to go with their previously released Hippo Birdy stamp set!  YAY!  Such a fun set!  I could’ve made several more cards to share, if only I didn’t need to sleep, eat, laundry etc! haha  The dies are so easy to use, just place over the stamped image, line up and run through the machine. They are outline dies! YAY!

My scene needed a little more, so I added some Wispy Grass cut in Peapod green TE card-stock and the small cloud from Build a Scene Cloud.  A little washi tape at the top and bottom and images colored with Zig Clean Color Brush watercolor markers.  Look at that ‘mug’!  Just makes a gal smile!
