Welcome to my blog today! It’s March release day at Taylored Expressions! I’m featuring the NEW Build a Scene Nursery! So many cute details for creating adorable cards! I used the NEW Build a Scene Window, Little Bits Rocking Horse and Welcome Baby Banner dies with it too. The sweet coordinating pattern papers are from the TE Double the Joy paper pack.

My next card is a lot of things I love! Kraft card-base, lots of white, a little bit of black and super cute images and sentiment!
Today TE is releasing the Hippo Birdy die set to go with their previously released Hippo Birdy stamp set! YAY! Such a fun set! I could’ve made several more cards to share, if only I didn’t need to sleep, eat, laundry etc! haha The dies are so easy to use, just place over the stamped image, line up and run through the machine. They are outline dies! YAY!
My scene needed a little more, so I added some Wispy Grass cut in Peapod green TE card-stock and the small cloud from Build a Scene Cloud. A little washi tape at the top and bottom and images colored with Zig Clean Color Brush watercolor markers. Look at that ‘mug’! Just makes a gal smile!

HO HO HO Merry Christmas! I know, I know… it’s early! Still…it’ll be nice to have a stash of cards and ideas before the last minute!
Here’s the NEW Memory Box Christmas Ribbon Ornaments die…soon to be HERE!
I broke out the glitter… haha… the Clear Rock Candy Distress Glitter HERE works great for this! It’s not getting all over everything after! YAY! THISwould work also… pretty!
I die cut the ornaments with Scor Tape HERE on the right side of the Memory Box card-stocks. Peeled off the release paper, dumped on glitter, dumped it off and burnished it on with a bone folder (place a piece of scrap paper on top of the glittered piece and rub). All without getting it all over me!!!
After you have your pieces cut and glittered, I lay the main piece right side down on the table, then place the pieces in right side down. I used Scotch tape this time but you could easy use ⅛ th or ¼ th inch scor tape too.
If you’re mounting it with mounting squares like I did, the scotch tape works because you don’t need the double stick.
If you are adhering the design directly to the card, scor tape would work great instead of scotch tape.
Here’s a couple Baby cards. We welcomed Leo to our family in December and Rogan the 1st of June!
I LOVE the Winnie and Walter clear stamp sets HERE! For this card I used the Big, Bold and the Happy set. I stamped with Versafine Black Ink.
Just darling! lol I love the gingham pea! I used Memory Box A Pea in the Pod dieHERE, Geneva Vine dieHERE, Urban Upper and Lower Alphabets HEREand HEREand the poppystamps Classic Ribbons dieHERE.
Now to finish up the insides and get them mailed! eek, I am so bad about that! So tickled with how these two cards turned out… Cute! Don’t you love it when you’re happy with what you make?! lol Memory Box and poppystamps…a great combo! Win, win!
I LOVE this NEW Star Garland die! So wonderful, die cut from Silver Glitter card-stock! I love the ‘broad stripes and bright stars’ here… I know…now the song is stuck in your head for hours! lol It’s a good song!
A close up… I used the happy and birthday cloud dies cut from Memory Box Sapphire card-stock and the Classic Uppercase Alphabet setfor USA, cut from Memory Box Cranberry card-stock.
The stripes are ¾ inch strips, 4 ¼ inches long, glued on about a ½ inch apart on a Memory Box White A2 Notecard.
It’s ok, go ahead and bust out singing! ; ) Oh say can you see…by the dawn’s early light…
The next card…well… it’s kinda birthday in a ‘birth’ day kind of way! Welcome Baby!
Here’s the Star Garland die again but I only used half of it. I ‘hung’ the words in space using the Parker Lowercase Alphabet set and the Alphabet Soup set. So cute!
Memory Box Baby Carriage die,Baby Stuff and the rug is from the Palace Oval Frame Set.
I used a little RV21 Copic marker on the rattle and the center of the carriage wheels.
Dies glued and mounted to a Memory Box Cherry Blossom A2 Notecard.
Won’t this die be awesome for Christmas?!!! YAY!
