Sweet Garden Gnome Elsie…

❤❤❤❤❤

Hi everyone!  It’s CC Designs Thursday Review day on the ATS blog… HERE.  Illustrator Amy Young’s newest line is the Sweet November Garden Gnomes, Adele, Elsie and Tilly.  So charming!

❤❤❤❤❤

I used some October Afternoon pattern paper from an 8×8 pad..Sidewalks.  I paper pieced Elsie’s clothes, shoe and watering can.  I hand stitched the stamped stitched marks.  Some Prima flowers, a Wilton 4 in. doily from Walmart, machine stitching and the Leafy Branch die.  Oh,  I punched circles for the flower centers.  Used a stylus and mouse pad to make them round up and stuck them on a bitty piece of mounting tape.  Layers are all cut with the PERFECT LAYERING TOOLS!  love them!  Links below…

❤❤❤❤❤

I edged all the papers with Antique Linen and Walnut Stain Distress ink and the ink blending tool.

Thanks so much for stopping by!  Looking forward to a pleasant weekend… lots of memories to treasure and more to make with family!  Some more stamping coming too! Take care!  ttul!

Shabby Chic “style” Mother card…

Oh,  I had some die cut creating time early this a.m.!  I absolutely LOVE how the CCD Cutters Squiggles die looks for the corner under the CCD Rolling Rose die and CCD Mistletoe die!  Then I used the Curly Q border die along with my Perfect Layering Tools to make the flower paper border and sentiment panel.  The pretty CCD Butterflies dies are three layers glued together so they are a little heavier and really stand out IRL!  Another card I wish I could just run across the street to show you!  = )

I love the touch of clear rhinestones everywhere… the pattern paper is from a Crate paper 6×6 pad. I can’t find this one to link to,  so I linked to a new pad that is really neat from them.  The little flourish tab thing is from an EK Success border punch… I just used a section of it!

Thanks all for visiting my blog again…I love the stamping community I feel such a part of on the WWW!  I just saw there is a stamp convention in Ohio next weekend… anyone going?

NEW Wings stamp set and die…

Isn’t it so much fun to have dies to match stamps?!!!  I’m lovin’ the fun things to create with dies and stamps! Today I used one of the butterflies from CC Designs new Wings Stamp set and the CC Designs Cutter Wings die.  I stamped the butterfly, used my clear die cut template I cut with the guide holes for marking where to place the die on the stamped butterfly before you cut,  then cut!  I love this butterfly with the dots… I used my Japanese screw punch to punch the holes and wrapped the center with wax linen.

So fun to get out some other stamp sets with a butterfly theme to use too… this is the Butterfly Postage Rubber Stamp set.  The dotted line on the postcard is from a Marianne Design border clear stamp set called Don and Daisy Decorations.

I cut the red doily out of the October Afternoon Thrift Shop paper… the pattern paper for this card is all from this 8×8 paper pad.

Happy Spring wishes winging your way!  ttul!

Paprika is glad it’s Spring!

She’s such a pretty thing!  Love how she colored up!  Paprika is part of the March Sweet November release at All That Scraps.com!   She’s out enjoying the wildflowers/paper from a 6×6 Crate Paper pad

Here’s a close up… how I colored her. Hair is E50, E51, YR31, Y35, Eyes are BG01, 02, 05

I did wipe off her elfish ear… ugh… shame on me… well,  I had to try and see if it’d work! I love it!

Are you loving the Logos sets that Christine is illustrating now?  I used one from the Woodland Logos set released last month and one from the Spring Logos set that is part of the March release.  Cool… very fun… stamped in a fun green color… Versafine Spanish Moss… love this color!  I forget to stamp in color ink… Black is such a good color! lol

And of course I had to use the CC Designs Cutters Leafy Branch die… they’re back in stock!  yea!  YES,  you do need it!  = )  And the small butterfly from the Butterfly Border die… yes,  it is smaller than the butterflies in the Butterflies Die set.

I think I took enough photos… silly… just post ’em all when you can’t decide!  That’s what I do! snicker!

The inside… All you need is Faith and Trust and a little bit of Pixie Dust… one of last month’s Woodland Logos…

Thanks for stopping by to meet Paprika!  There’s a great post on the ALL That Scraps Blog featuring the Sweet November release… check out the cards from the other DT gals… HERE.

Ima Butterfly…

So…I tried the no outline coloring… I love it but… when I took the pictures this a.m. her face looked awful in the photos!  ugh! boo! whine!  So,  I tried to blend it more…well,  we all know what happens then… ugh!  So the photo above is the second photo session because of that evil E11! lol  It is not my friend in photos anyway.  I thought the coloring was fine until I took the pictures!   I used V20, 22, 25, 28 for her dress and boots. E30, 31, 34, 37 for her hair. YG0000, 00, 01, 03 for her wings and a clear Spica glitter pen.

The pattern paper is Basic Grey Sugar Rush 6×6 pad. Dies and punches and of course the Perfect Layers Rulers!

Here’s the first photo I took this a.m. before I tried blending and removing color on her face.  I think in trying to get the shading I just used too much ink!

I’m not throwing the card away because IRL,  it’s cute and I really like it! Figures I can’t get a photo that does it justice!  Oh well,  click over to the ATS Blog and see the fab cards by the some of the other ATS gals.  Tons of new stuff in the store @ All That Scraps.com too… Scroll down to see my post about the coupon code for the NEW Magnolia Princes and Princesses collection and magazine!

Have a great day!  Not sure I should try anything else new this week! hohoho  I do need to do some more creating so who knows what will happen! lol

Thanks for stopping by and here’s the stamps and such that I used today…

CC Designs Swiss Pixies February Review Day!  I used Pixie Lucy, Woodland Daisy and Woodland Logos…

She’s so sweet!

Images are stamped with Memento Tuxedo Black ink. I used some different Copic colors this time…for me anyway!  For the pink clothes I started out with R11.  Then teeny amounts of R12 and R20.  On her Wings I used R0000 all over, then R000, 00, 01 and 02. The greens are BG90’s.  The big flower is R20, R43 and R46.  The teeny flowers are E24, E07 and E59.  Her hair is E50, 51, 53, 55.  Acorns are the E40’s.

The paper is from one of those 4×6 ish paper pads from DCWV called Mariposa.

LOVE the Woodland Daisy “seat” and AmyR Stamps Be Happy sentiments…”just sitting here thinking of YOU”!  (stamped with my trusty stamp a ma jig…LOVE that thing!) Check out the super tiny acorns on the Woodland Pixie Logo… I cut out a couple and popped them up!
