Hi everyone! It’s always a festive Christmas card when you can add in some poinsettias and pine!
I had fun using a bunch of products on this card and of course bringing in brown! lol
I started by cutting the candles in green and inking them with Distress Rustic Wilderness and the flames die cut in white and inked with Distress Mustard Seed. I added some Copic E07 at the bottom of the ovals to look like fire.
After I pieced the candles together I spritzed them with Sparkle Spray…they are really shimmery in person…the dots aren’t so dotty looking IRL. lol Left them to dry and worked on the background and poinsettias.
I used the NEW Pinecone and Berried 3D Embossing Folder for the background panel….after I embossed it, I inked it with Gathered Twigs and Walnut Stain Distress ink and ink blending brushes. I spattered it with a gold spray by Heidi Swap but I don’t see it anywhere anymore. Any gold ink would work. I’ll link to the other one I use more.
I die cut the Memory Box Pine Branches die, clipped it apart and used half on each end.
I die cut the Petite Poinsettias die set and made 2 poinsettias to add on each end.
The sentiment is from the poppystamps Christmas Quotes stamp and die set.
I hope I remembered to include the pertinent details…if I didn’t comment or email.
haha! I forgot to take a picture of the inside again! I made the cardbase green, then I die cut one of the Rectangles from the NEW Memory Box Fringed Scalloped Frame Set in red cardstock and I stamped ‘Wishing you a Merry Christmas’ from the NEW Be Merry stamp set that I love so much!

HI Pam…..altho we have never met, I feel I know you. You see, Jan C was not just a dear friend to me but a cousin to my late husband. I am also a card maker also so Jan shared alot of her (and yours) good ideas with me. I will truly miss her as well. Truly saddened to hear of her passing. Spoke with Tammy for quite
some time a couple nights ago.
I will continue to watch your blogs.

Hi Pam! Such a pretty card! Thanks for sharing!
What a great card Pam! If this is my third comment, sorry….had trouble with the posting again. Not sure what is going on.
Amazing card. I love the green candles and wondered how you obtained that somewhat dotted aspect. I see it’s sparkly and must be so sparkly in RL. But I did like the candles the way they are photographed as I thought they had character and style. So I love the card either way. LOL
So glad you shared your card with Die Cut Divas’ challenge this month.
Such rich colors, the background embossing/shading is gorgeous. What a lovely card, thanks for sharing with us at the Paper Funday Challenge!

It blows me away how you can make your cards so utterly beautiful that I’m continually tempted to stock up on new products. It’s a good thing I already have the Pinecones and Berries EF because yours looks stunning in this golden brown. Every detail is fabulous. You know how I love this stuff, sigh…
Gorgeous texture, Pam – just love your candle scene; in fact, it was my pick as a fave at Die Cut Divas November challenge. Thanks for sharing!!
