Memory Box Large Vintage Sled Tag and Birch Press Design Pinpoint Snowflake…

Sleds always take me back to my youth and so many nights of going to Fairmont Park for sledding and ice skating.  The city closed off the perfect street for sledding.  So much fun!

This new die is perfect for cards and tags a like.  I used the Christmas Plaid paper pad paper and Christmas Quotes stamps and coordinating dies.

The mistletoe sprigs are from the new Mistletoe Wreath die set.  I cut two, added baby pearls and twine.

I posted a snowflake ornament on Instagram not realizing the die was discontinued.  So I decided to use this new die from Birch Press Design to make the same type… the pinpoint design of this Pinpoint Snowflake die makes it really easy to do… you don’t even have to score the center lines, you just fold right on the dots!  I used six die cuts in white cardstock and ink blended on the edges after it was glued together.

So pretty… I need to get it hung on the tree and see if the light shines through the dots!

Not the best pictures… my camera settings got off and I didn’t realize it. ugh.

and  little video…

I think I’m done getting the Christmas tree up…I want to get the garland on the stairway still…eek!  How are you doing?

Thanks for stopping by!

  1. I love sleds too-and this one is perfection!! Hope you are all doing as well as you can for the Holidays. I think about Breanna’s kids so much. I know you are a close family and that helps so much. We are doing well-just spending all our money at the grocery store-ha ha. We are both trying to take weight off (Steve has taken off around 40#) and I am being good on my Diabetic diet – so where is all the food going? I think the freezer-ha ha!! Sending many blessings to you and your family this year!!!

  2. Wow Girl…your sled looks so real. LOVE your Tag. Cool snowflake too! I am still in LOVE with your stamp wall too!!! =)

  3. Lovely sled card brings back memories when I used to go sledding with my sisters, such a long time ago. Love the snowflake in 3D. It’s raining today so no sledding here today. Take care.

  4. This sled is spectacular Pam! It tugs at my heart – so nostalgic riding one of these when I was younger!! Fabulous tag!!

  5. Your post has so many fun things today. Love the sled on the plaid tag. And the star ornament is gorgeous. The video was great. Thanks for sharing.

  6. Wonderful snowflake ornament, but I really love that sled! It looks fantastic in the different layers. Decorating done here — now onto mail!

  7. These are so sweet – love the sled, but that ornament is gorgeous! Great job, as always! Ugh….Christmas. No one is coming, so we have done very little. Each time I try to get the Nativity up, or the tree decorated, something happens. Yesterday evening, our refrigerator died! You can only guess what a mess that was… hugs!

  8. Your snowflake ornament is super cute and I absolutely love your sled tag! It appears as though I’m not seeing some of the pics here. Sorry I haven’t been on IG. Nice memories, Pam!
