Simon Says Stamp NEW Holly Jolly Release!

Hi everyone!  I’m here to show you what I did with the new Outline Merry Christmas Background cling stamp from Simon Says Stamp’s new Holly Jolly release.  Check out the new Distress Ink color while you’re there!

I cut a panel of red cardstock to 4 x 5 ¼ in. and white heat embossed the new stamp on it.

Layered it on black cardstock and then on a white A2 cardbase.

I die cut SSS Big Joy die from white cardstock and adhered it to the panel with foam mounting tape.

Then I die cut the SSS Picture Book Deer from kraft cardstock, the scarf from red, and chest from white.   I edged everything with Gathered Twigs Distress Ink and a mini ink blending tool.

His eyes and nose are a black Sakura Glaze Pen. The x’s on the scarf are with a white pen.

I die cut the little holly leaves from the Memory Box Holly Double Arch die.

He’s so cute!  Such Personality!  This background die is fun… lots of possibilities as you’ll see from other cardmakers!

Thank you for stopping by!  I appreciate it!  ❤

Sometimes I skip around when reading my emails. There are days when I just have to get the must do ones-ha ha!! Hope the days are getting a little better for you! Thinking of you so often. My great nephew, Brandon just turned 40, has esophageal cancer. He had his first chemo yesterday. He also has a spot on his liver. We are all in a little bit of shock. He is in great shape and always been healthy (except for our family curse-diabetic). Our family is full of diabetes and we don’t even know where it came from. Also we have heart problems in our family-so we have been pretty lucky with very little cancer in our family. Brandon has a very supportive wife and a 9 year old son-the sweetest little guy ever. Prayers are always appreciated!!! As you well know, life is just not always fair.

I love hearing from you! Thank YOU!
