Wreath Building, You’ve Been On My Mind Card…

Hi everyone! Today is my last post as a ‘fetti friend for Reverse Confetti.  It’s been fun creating with their January release for two months! I hope you’ve enjoyed it. ❤

I decided to use the new Butterfly Wreath stamp and dies set but just the three smaller images to make a wreath using the wreath builder technique and the MISTI.

I love the simplicity of it and that the message is what you see first. It’s not always possible to be with people in person but if you’re like me, we are thinking of them!

I stamped in green ink but just die cut the three little floral images and butterfly. I colored in the flowers and butterfly with Copic Sketch Markers.

For the card base, I ran the new Stitched Scallops cover plate die through the Big Shot with the embossing set up instead of die cutting it.  I really like the soft feel of this look for this card and message.

My other cards I made with these sets and dies are HERE and HERE.

So glad to have you visit today!  Thank you so much for stopping by! ❤

  1. Lovely Card Pam!!! And … how perfect is the saying, ‘you’ve been on my mind’.
And … HA … I finally figured out why I thought I was not receiving your blog posts. It comes up in my AOL in the FROM column as WordPress.com instead of ExpressionsWithHeart. So, I have been deleting those as I didn’t know who they were from. What a bummer that I’ve been deleting them. I even checked SPAM and they never showed up in there so I gave up. And … I knew I was subscribed too!!! So … Yay!!! I will not delete them anymore!!!
I hope all is well with you and yours!!! =)

  2. Beautifully done, and makes me yearn for spring! More snow to come tonight…bah! Love how you created the background! Thanks for sharing!

  3. Such a cute card Pam! I’m going to do some embossing with my dies some day! LOL! I keep saying I’m going to, but never seem to get it done! Thanks for sharing!

  4. This is so sweet. I love the images you featured from the Butterfly Wreath set, they make for a wonderful focal point. Thank you for all of your gorgeous projects.

  5. You are the clever one with this pretty little wreath, Pam! I do love the sentiment, too, and the cover plate. I always love too many things… and then you know what happens, sigh…
