Welcome to Day Two of my 2019 Snowflake Card Series! Today I’m throwing in some holly with traditional shiny gold embellishing.
Christmas creating just calls for all the shiny stuff, doesn’t it?!
I started out by stamping some of the greenery from the new Winter Greenery clear stamp set. I used the two branches marked in the photo below. I stamped one of them twice so I had three images behind the holly.
I die cut the new Scribble Holly Trio Outline in the same kraft cardstock as the background and inked it with an olive color ink. Green cardstock would work too! I just had the olive stamp pad sitting there and used it. lol
I backed the Holly Trio with two cuts of the new Scribble Holly Trio Background dies.
I die cut the new Bauble Snowflakes, two of the smaller one, put scor-tape on the back and pieced back in the center and ovals. Then painted with Heidi Swapp metallic gold spray.
I die cut the new Merry Christmas Noted Script in white and gold and glued them together, then to the card.
I spattered with white acrylic gouache and the same gold spray, added three enamel dots and layered it to an A2 size Cherry Pop TE cardstock cardbase.
Thank you so much for joining me here for day two! I haven’t decided what day to post my favorite yet! Maybe tomorrow…hehe

Wowzers, another gorgeous creation! I hope to get into my room today. Thanks for inspiring me!
Another lovely card the gold adds to your card
You’re killin’ me, you know. I have very few snowflake dies and you’re making me feel like I need to collect a few more… as in LOTS more. Plus a bunch of holly and other greenery. Seriously killin’ me. This is so beautiful, Pam!
Both of these are awesome! Can’t decide which one of these is my favorite!
Just beautiful, Pam! Love them!!!
Pam – this card is a stunner! I really like the olive green stamped on the background and used again in the greenery die – it really works well with the kraft and touch of subdued red! Beautiful!
Rachelle
The stamping layer combined with the die cut on top – I am loving this technique…and the amazing gold splatter – Pam this is absolutely gorgeous!!
Another beautiful card, and love that you left the snowflake mostly white to “pop” out of your grouping!
Another gorgeous card! The colors are so pretty!
