Welcome to my blog today! So happy with this color combo for this Spring, sure to cheer you colors, card today.
I ink blended regular Distress inks with the mini ink blending tools using Wilted Violet, Shaded Lilac, Lucky Clover and Cracked Pistachio on Hobby Lobby Masterstouch watercolor cardstock.
I seem to be using the mini pads the most these days and I put the ink on my craft mat, spritzed it with water and spattered the card with the same four colors.
I made the white enamel dots with Nuvo drops…and added a Memory Box butterfly. I changed out the cap on my white and black Nuvo drops to the Darice Ultrafine tips that I link to below and use for the PVA glue also. Work much better for me.
I die cut the Memory Box Floral Bloom Oval Frame die twice, gluing them together cuz I just like them that thick sometimes!

Next card…because I want to enter the Twofer Card Challenge. (I didn’t realize I was supposed to photograph the cards together until the post was done, I’ll do better next time! )
Here I used some of Lawn Fawn’s plaid papers…I know…wild when you mix them up this much! Kinda unusual for me to put 3 plaids together… it’s much softer looking in person. Good thing! lol
I adhered the oval to the cardbase with mounting tape.
I left the ‘parts’ in and glued the plaid pieces over the top…it’s almost tulip time… well, another month for Iowa! lol Maybe I should say it’s always tulip time somewhere!
Oh, I wanted to try out the new poppystamps Pointed Rectangle Frames on this card too… I like how it finishes off a card.
The happy birthday sentiment is from the clear set Birthday Sentiments, inked with Lawn Fawn ink in the MISTI stamping too.

Great idea to do both. Really like them, but I think my favorite is with the plaid. Thanks
How gorgeous these both are and such a different look with the same die!
Oh my, this is lovely, Pam!
=]
I love them both – really love the plaid one though!! These are amazing Pam!!!
Whoa I love that plaid tulip card… smashing!
Your designs are gorgeous for spring, Pam! Such great creations with the tulip die and all the others, too! I love the splatters and I love the plaid! You have brought tulips to Iowa early at your house!! Thanks so much for playing in Twofer Card Challenge #3! Hugs, Darnell
Perfect pictures of spring! I love the background watercolors and the plaid! The tulips are the perfect detail! Wow! Great work!
Definitely is a gorgeous die, just perfect for spring! And I love both versions that you’ve created! Never thought plaid could look this good with flowers!! What a fantastic display of your talent!! 🙂
Your cards are like a breath of Springtime! Such pretty, happy colors, and that die is fantastic. There’s just something special about tulips, isn’t there?!! Great blending and splatters on your first card, and I love the plaid within plaid design of your second card. Delightful! Thanks for joining us at The Twofer Challenge.
These cards are stunning. I love them both but the plaid one has something special about it. Such good use of colour. x
They are both just gorgeous and great ways to use them, my favorite is the plaid, looks fantastic!
LOVE your ovals takes on our sketch – and what a fun die-cut, too – great way to play with mixing colors and papers – remind me of crocuses! Thanks so much for playing at Sunday Stamps!
Dang, I’ve been wanting some of those fine tips but didn’t know where to find them. On the wish list now! As for your cards… I was loving on the watercolor, thinking how pretty it is with the die, and then along came your plaid card and WOW! Two very different looks from one die. You know how I feel about designer paper. Love how you mixed up the plaids — green for the leaves, yellow for the blossoms, and that little bit of blue to suggest some sky in the background. Genius!
Very pretty cards! So perfect for spring!
Hi Pam, your playing with the die lead two wonderful and so elegant Easter cards. One die and with great ideas and creativity two unique cards!
