Hi cardmakers and friends! Some Memory Box dies and Distress Ink Smooshing on my first card today. Have you done this technique yet? I’m sure I’ve described it on other posts and if you google, lots will come up. It is so fun! I used Picked Raspberry, Cracked Pistachio and Wilted Violet on watercolor paper.
I die cut the egg a couple times and glued it together with Tombow Mono Multi glue. The sentiment is just one layer glued carefully to a piece of vellum. I used the Rectangle Basics die set for the layers.
I know the Nuvo drops are really fun but I still tend to reach for the Doodlebug Sprinkles/enamel dots. I love the colors and sizes. I’ll link to everything below.

Next card…
I die cut the Gift Basket die from a kraft notecard and ran it back through the Big Shot with the tan mat and shims to get the embossed effect. While it’s still in the die, turn it over and ink it through the holes in the die with Gathered Twigs Distress ink and the ink blending tool! Adds so much to a simple card.
The Petite Flower Bunch die fits perfectly in the basket. I used white Nuvo drops for the flower centers.
The light is weird on this photo but I liked it for some reason. lol A sweet card IRL. One to use for any occasion.

Beautiful cards. Love the colors.
I’m loving the watercoloring!! I keep seeing that egg die as well. I must quit buying until I have used what I aleady have……………ha ha!! Beautiful work as always!!
I love the water color effect with the vivid colors combined with the lacey details. Beautiful! I also love teh green with the yellow floral accents! Very nice work!
I like both cards Pam. I like the way you put the basket to the right and made it part of the oval. Looks great
Arghhh….I shoulda saved your post to look at later! Now I want to stop cleaning, and start creating – funny how that always happens. Beautiful cards – I really think that’s the prettiest Happy Easter die that I’ve seen anyplace. Great job with your smoosh 🙂 Happy Wednesday!
Both cards are beautiful!
Oooooooh that first one is my favorite of all of your new Easter cards! I love the background! Those colors look so good together! I love the sentiment on the vellum too! So awesome! The second one is totally adorable too! Kind of cute and country 😉
Love the Easter Basket with the distressing – totally makes the card, and the pretty flowers in the basket. Busy busy lady you have been. I made 2 Easter cards today, got to get in the spring creative mood.
Do you ever sleep? ha ha Both cards are adorable. Love the bright colors of the first card. So bright and springy. The second one is cute and your choice of colors were perfect for the card. I’ve done a lot of smoothing and find it so relaxing to do. Need to get on the mark with Easter. I’m slow this year. Your cards should have been in a book they are so beautiful.
Oh these are just perfectly stunning! Love, love, love…
Yup, research and development… I’m doing it right now! Also developing a big hole in my budget. Must go smoosh something very soon and hope it looks half as awesome as your Easter egg card. I love all the die cut textured clean beauty of your second card, too. Whatever happened to my tan mat, I wonder? I’ve had one since my first Cuttlebug, but nowhere to be found now. Those enamel dots are so fun, whether Doodlebug or Nuvo Crystals.
Love the background on the first card. I need to do that again. Both cards are awesome.
Love the basket with the Petite Flower Bunch…I didn’t even look twice at that die now it’s all I can think of!! Love these cards and always such a visual pleasure to see how you combine the dies Pam!!
Two wonderful spring cards! Love the colours you used in the first one! Thanks for joining us at CAS Watercolour.

Love your gorgeous cards! The background colors and the embellishments are fabulous. Thank you so much for sharing with us at Simon Says Stamp Monday Challenge. 🙂
Fantastic, subtle, dreamy BG watercolouring and a brilliant use of your dies. Perfect Easter scene and perfect for our Uniko challenge gallery this month too. Thanks for playing with us.
You’re on a roll, woman!
Love both cards… Nice to see the grass corners in action (on my ‘to get’ list even before seeing them here), and that colour combo in the second is one I must remember to try out.
So quiet my end as hubby made me sick for two out of the four weeks last month (beginning and end)… and looking after him in-between that. I don’t like being sick, but I don’t like being nurse even more!!! x
What pretty delicate dies you have used on your first card and the Brusho BG really makes them pop. Two beautiful Spring and Easter cards. Thanks so much for sharing and joining in on the Uniko Challenge. Hugs Bev x
2 beautiful cards, I love the colors on the first one, and the second one completely won me over what a lovely card. Thanks for joining us at Uniko.
