Memory Box Happiness and poppystamps Tendril Demi Frame…

It’s looking like Spring all over blog land but we finally got snow here in SE  Iowa! I love how bright it is and the sun is shining! yay!

I have a lot of Spring cards to share though so I better get to it!

Some ink blending with Distress Ink Cracked Pistachio, Peacock Feathers and Shaded Lilac…heat embossed sentiment and then the panel hooked under the scroll parts of two cuts of the Tendril Demi Frame die. Whew. Easy!  The hard part was getting a picture of it for some reason.

It’s been challenging to find card-stocks that blend easy.  Have you noticed that?  What are your favorites for ink blending?  I really like the heavier weight Mixed Media pads, but what I used today is Strathmore Premium, Super Smooth 80# Ultimate White card-stock.  I purchased a ream of it from Marcos Paper a few years ago.  Just happened to try it and wow, I like it for this! Good deal. lol

I’ll link below to what I used…

Thanks so much for stopping by! You’re what keeps me coming back here and posting! lol  ‘preciate it and your comments so much.  Thank you!

  1. This is so beautiful Pam – the curls of the sleeve around the front panel is such a brilliant touch – I love this!!

  2. This is just beautiful, Pam! I love the soft, pretty colors and the way it’s put together. Such a pretty reminder that spring will soon be here. I hope anyway … we haven’t gotten above 30* today and have light flurries. Oh well, could be worse.

  3. Beautiful card Pam. Lovely sentiment and dies, and your choice of colours and blending is spot on.

  4. What a lovely card! Love how you used the border on the sides of the card. Brilliant!! You card is so springy. Of course, here in California it was 80° today so we are feeling spring and the allergies. Looking forward to more of your creative genius!!!

  5. Beautiful – this makes my heart happy and loving your color combinations. We had snow all day yesterday but none sticking. I’m ready for a real spring, not just a teaser like we have been having.

  6. Gorgeous ink colors and dies and sentiment! The white embossed sentiment goes perfectly with the white die cuts. Your inks blended beautifully on that paper, so naturally I had to go look it up. I’ve been using either Whisper White (SU!) or X-Press It Blending Card for those occasional times I blend. They work well. Not sure why I don’t do more inky stuff. Your card reminds me how beautiful it can be!

I love hearing from you! Thank YOU!
