Hi everyone!  When I saw the challenge at Addicted to CAS…I just knew I needed to use some of my Hero Arts stamps with the Hero Arts Ombre stamp pad!  I had to hurry though cuz we’re down to the last few hours!  eek!  Life on the edge when you have too many things going! lol

I tried a few different backgrounds but ended up just going around the perimeter of the image with a gold paint pen after I inked and put 4 inch wide double stick tape over the top and covered it with Judikins Micro Clear Beads… I have to use them at least once a year!  hehe

I die cut a Memory Box Postage square die, Holly die and the sentiment from Cottage Cutz in white glitter card-stock, holly in green. So festive but with a vintage appeal too.

I’m happy so it’s back to work on the house. The living/dining room is painted and we’re working on moving things back in.  Tim washed some windows and I’ve been cleaning blinds!  oh yuk is right! Double yuk!  That’s why I had to stop and make something! haha

ok – ttul!

  1. Wowzers! Sounds like you’re getting a huge remodeling job 🙂 What fun! Is this the ‘tree’ room where the monster tree goes? Looking forward to photos… What a beautiful card, my friend! I would LOVE to see this card made on video, from the Ombre ink pad to the mini beads… Absolutely stunning!

  2. So pretty and love the CAS attitude – I don’t do CAS well at all – I always thinks it needs just one more thing. Window washing is one of my least favorite things to do as well as cleaning blinds – UK is right!!!

  3. Such a beautiful ombre effect on your sky and I love this sweet village! Gorgeous Christmas card, Pam! Thanks so much for playing along with us this week at Addicted to CAS!

  4. Beautiful work!!! I love the lettering, the village, the color, and micro beads, the layout, and the holly touch. Wow! I love it all! Beautiful!!!!!!!!!!

  5. I love the beaded look! I still have bunches of micro-beads, too. Another stamp pad I need? Gosh, makes ombre so easy! This is just so darn pretty and relatively simple! Painting and working on the house? I can’t wait to paint my stamp room and put up blinds and curtains, but it’s going to wait till after Christmas. Yes, always so much to do!

I love hearing from you! Thank YOU!
