I love Christmas… tomorrow our family will gather and we’ll start our Christmas Eve celebration by putting out the nativity set. Each child will pick a character and place it in the scene when we come to that part of the scripture. Every once in awhile through the rest of the day and even through the year they will talk about it… makes my heart happy!
This is the card I sent to our daughters/families. Inspired by Dina from the IO design team.
I sprayed and spattered white linen on the blue background. The grass die is from poppystamps…the fence and nativity from Impression Obsession.
I edged the kraft with Gathered Twigs Distress ink.
On the inside, I used the sentiment, ‘joy to the world’ from a Tim Holtz Sizzlet long die.

I hope to get pictures of the tags I’ve been making…eek… it’s been so dark here the last few days…come on snow! We’re had rain and dreary…weird for Iowa! Oh well, when you’re busy, you hardly notice the weather!
Did you receive the email update from Memory Box? WOW! Gorgeous new dies coming! woohoo! to ‘die’ for! haha
Merry Christmas Eve, Eve Day!

A truly beautiful card invoking the real reason for this special season. I enjoyed reading your family’s lovely Christmas nativity tradition. What a wonderful way to teach the little ones about this Miracle, and how they will treasure this memory in the years to come. TFS – both the card and the tradition. Merry Christmas to you & your family. God Bless

Can you help me? I know that you posted this beautiful card a long time ago, but I recently was able to purchase the die (which has been on my wish list for AGES). Now, I come back to your card, and I am not sure how to create it. ~ sigh. I’m not sure how you made the nativity into a shaped card. Any help would be greatly appreciated.
