Memory Box Glorious Gerber Daisies and Kensington Border cards…

PamSparksGloriousGerbersKraftPurpleGreenCLOSE
Glorious Gerbers indeed!  I love these flower dies from Memory Box!  I will be posting later next week about the Great Yosemite Stamp Escape but in the meantime, here’s a couple cards I made up while working out what cards to teach.

I pieced in the Distress Dots Memory Box Signature pattern papers for the flower petals.  I like to leave the pieces in the die and use the Quikstik to place them them in the holes, easier to keep track of the pieces and faster too!

Memory Box Kraft A-2 notecard for the base, edged with Distress ink and the ink blending tool.

Just can’t get enough of the Kensington Border die!  Love it!

I inked up just the ‘happy birthday’ words from the Happy Birthday Special Combo stamp and stamped them on the poppystamps classic ribbon border die and layered it up.
Here’s a little bit different version…

and since I couldn’t decide if I liked one photo better than the other…

Some little purple baby pearls on the border die cut, wish I’d remembered to do that on the first card before photos! lol  If you don’t have purple, you can always color white ones with your Copic markers!

Hemp on the first card and Lawn Fawn trimmings on the second.

THANKS for visiting today!

  1. Absolutely stunning cards. These cards really show off the daisy die exquisitely and each card is prettier than the previous. Loving that border die too. TFS

  2. These are just super, super cute! I really love the color combinations too! Combining these gorgeous flowers with the border dies makes for some fabulous cards!

  3. Great card! Simple and lovely! I just purchased the Daisy and this will be fun to play with.
(sorry about the pic. I’m a Rose Festival Clown and forgot I put the pic on my bio.) Ü

  4. I am very impressed and intrigued by this style of card. The delicate white die cuts filled in with the colored pieces is very striking. I am going to search for a die to try out this technique. Thank you for sharing your creativity.

  5. What a nice way to use the border die…. it really shows it off nicely with the colors you used too!!!
Both cards are right up my alley!

  6. So pretty Pam. Paper piecing is something I haven’t tried. It looks so pretty! I can always count on you to show something different and make and sound so easy! Thanks for sharing! 🙂 Nancee
