Copic Creations Challenge #12

Challenge #12Copics,  Pencils and OMS

New challenge starting today at Copic Creations challenge blog.  Stamps Happen/Janlynn gave each of the design team members a Fairy stamp to color with copic markers,  color pencils and odorless mineral spirits. Click on the Copic Creations link above to go to the blog and see all the gorgeous fairies the other design team gals colored,  learn some history about flower fairies and links for tutorials on today’s technique! If you play a long, Janlynn has an awesome prize for the winner! Wish I could play for the prize!  I say that every-time! lol

I colored the Jasmine Flower Fairy with copic sketch markers first and then went back in with the chocolate and white prismacolor pencils to add more contrast. I then went over those places using a paper stump wet with OMS. I used the Spica clear glitter pen on the wings.
copic colors I used…
E000, 00, 01, 11, 17, 42, 50, 53, 53, 55, 57, 59, YG63, 91, 93, G94, 99, BG99, R000, 00, 01
This challenge ends Sept. 30th – hope you can join us!

  1. Pam! This is just SO beautifully colored! Your background coloring is sensational. I love the softness you achieved with the fairy’s gown and the pretty flowers. This card is just stunning!

  2. What an amazing image! You colored her beautifully and the background is lovely too. Thanks for telling us which copic colors you used and pencils. That helps alot. hugz, Angela

  3. Pam this is just amazing but that must have taken you ages to color! She is gorgeous though! Did you actually receive the stamp to keep? I have seen the flower fairies before but not as stamps I think. One thing is for sure though, you are absolutely right for the Copic Creations team :).

  4. Pam, you did an awesome job coloring this image. I love the touches of pink on the tiny flowers. Great job on coloring the fairy! LC

  5. Pam, this turned out awesome! What a gorgeous work of art. You need to frame this. I’m chuckling at all the “down with the fairies” dialog going back and forth. They were time-intensive, no question – but golly, they’re gorgeous! Yours is no exception to that statement. Beautifully done! Hugs,

  6. As I said, this really is BEAUTIFUL!! It’s actually a “work of art”! You really did an awesome job (as always!) on this one! I’m soooooooooo happy you have joined the team. Big hug, Mary
