Happy 3rd birthday to Henry, one of our grandsons….A fun time was had by all!

Magnolia-licious is having a blog hop with an Edwin challenge so I’m going to enter this card…

Edwin is from Magnolia of Sweden rubber stamps,  the Spring ’09 release.  Doggy on his scooter is from Penny Black rubber stamps.  Both colored with copic markers.  The two postal cancellations are from Close to My Heart…love this set…(reminder to self) still need to buy the girl set. Martha Stewart butterfly punch.  I traced around the actual punch and cut out,  to get the solid butterfly to put behind the punched butterfly…just thought it needed that!   Hours later….lol   The happy birthday words are from EK Success and the 3rd is from Technique Tuesday.  Wish Big is Amuse or Savvy, can’t remember and Henry’s name is die cut with Quickutz Blossom alphabet.  The pattern paper is from My Minds Eye.

Henry has a stuffed doggy that he LOVES and carries with him almost everywhere!  It looks like this Penny Black dog,  so I just had to buy the stamp!!! lol  Henry also has a red scooter….perfect.  I usually don’t talk about family on this blog,  but I have to tell you that Tim and I have 8 grandchildren and everyone is a total JOY!  They make me smile and I love getting hugs and kisses!

ATC's

AMERICAN as baseball and apple pie….

The first ATC’s I created were in July of 2005.  I made ten with a patriotic theme for an in person swap…each one different.  I wanted to post something today but I don’t have anything new.  We’ve had a lot going on with family – normal for Summer,  right?!  So, here is one of that series that set me on the journey of ATC creating and then below is the group.

Black and White tones Tilda

The challenge this week at Cute Card Thursday is stitching…mine is all faux but still a sweet addition to this Tilda card “in gray”!
This Tilda was very fun to color. I watched a tutorial at Copic Munkies by Katie Cotton and it is EXCELLENT!!! I used my cool gray copics but next time I’m going to use the warm grays like she did.
Tilda from Magnolia of Sweden, flower background, frame, zig zag and sentiment by Hero Arts. Teeny brads by Bazzill, Martha Stewart border punch and the ribbon is from American Crafts

The blue jeans were all over the place! lol Oh well, I still like this stamp and had fun w/all the little pencils!

Edwin – celebrating the USA

I’m using Edwin from Magnolia of Sweden rubber stamps and colored with copic sketch markers for the Just Magnolia Challenge blog this week. It’s a sketch….

I used Bazzill card-stock, Melissa Frances pattern papers, circle nestabilities dies, Antique Linen distress ink pad to age the papers, EK success border punch, the metal USA square is an old scrapbook embellishment from my collection of stuff and the sentiment stamp is from Stampabilities!
