Birch Press Design Viva Layer Die Set Card…

Hi friends and cardmakers! It’s a big day… it’s Friday and I’m celebrating that I get to write a blog post, finish a couple birthday cards and go to stamp club this afternoon! I can’t believe another month has rolled around though!

I had fun making this card a few weeks ago and almost forgot to post it! Crazy me!

So when you have little die cut dots all over your work surface what do you do? Paper crafters make a background of course! haha

I love these colors together but I need to tell you, that is dark brown as in chocolate! lol Not black. Dark brown always looks black in photos to me. Naughty child! haha I used Memory Box Pool, Meadow, Vanilla Bean, white and kraft notecards for this card.

I love working with dies and these layering ones are so fun…kinda like people! No two alike! Just keep cutting and playing with layering them together.

This Viva Layer Die set is three large intricate dies! I think this one will be gorgeous made up as ornaments for Christmas!

Love all those dots…was hoping it was the paper…you actually glued ALL those LITTLE DOTS ? Holy Cow…looks great…but don’t think I will be doing that one….nah!

I’m feeling dizzy just looking at all those dots – cannot believe that you glued them each on there one at a time! Your card makes me smile – such a happy greeting! Oh, no, you did not glue on all those little dots! It sounds like something I’d do. But, hey, you were just cleaning up your desk, right? Better here than in the wastebasket. It looks awesome! What fantastic fun that die set looks like. Endless possibilities! LOVE your card!

Oh how pretty! What great use of all the paper dots left from the die! I love this! I hope to be able to get back to crafting soon. This past Saturday, the 9th, my 83 year old mother’s home caught fire. I am her insurance agent so I am going to very busy helping her and her husband rebuild their home. I hope to squeeze some craft time soon. I so miss “my time”!
