Inky Impressions Challenge #14

September 9, 2009September 11, 2009 Pam Sparks11 Comments

Today on the Inky Impressions Challenge blog we’re celebrating Nicole’s birthday with a color challenge, pink and brown, one of Nicole’s favorite color combinations.

I added some pink and brown to the inside too…don’t ask me why I colored the chocolate pink!!! I got a little carried away I guess…lol

Be sure to go by the challenge blog to see the other gal’s pink and brown creations. You’ll find the links to their blogs in my right sidebar under Inky Impressions Inkettes.

AND…Nicole has some birthday blog candy that you will want to check out here on her blog!

The BEST NEWS is the sneak peeks of the new images starting TODAY! Hurrah! I will have some peeks tomorrow…click the sneak peeks box below ….and for more info check out Naoual, Jacqui and Chris

Then on Saturday Sept. 12th plan on blog hopping with us to see the full cards from all the sneek peeks!

Oops…almost forgot! This cute little Angelica Heartsocks stamp I used on the card above is from Inky Impressions rubber stamps. I did have to alter her this time though…I cut her purse off and made a gift bag (hand cut) out of kraft cardstock. The other stamps used are from Hero Arts, Stampendous, Penny Black and Amuse. EK Success punches, medium retro flower, candle and scallop borders. I used a Cuttlebug embossing folder, Swiss dots, on the pink strip. Pierced the holes in the top right corner. Teeny 1/16th in. brads from Bazzill. Small flower is a Michael’s dollar punch.
Hope she brings a smile and Happy Birthday to you, Nicole!!!

Back to School Angelica

I’ve made this card for THREE challenges…woohoo! Quit laughing at me! I’ve come a long way! lol Cute Card Thursday’s challenge this week is Back to School. The sketch is from Friday Sketchers challenge blog and today’s ways to use it challenge at Splitcoast Stampers is “sand it”! I decided Angelica heartsocks looks all dressed up and ready to go to school! I had to fiddle with the sketch but it looked like the other gals did too…then the “sand it” for SCS is just the matte after-all… I made a couple other things but just couldn’t make them work! I usually do that…that’s why my desk is a mess!

I love the stamps from Inky Impressions….these girls are the sweetest and my faves right now! I’ll be using some new ones soon….can’t wait! First it’ll be sneak peeks and then a blog hop, I’m told…my first!

I love your comments and really appreciate you taking the time! Have a great LONG weekend!

more fun with copics, nestabilities dies, stamps and punches! Spellbinders, Martha Stewart, Punch Bunch, EK Success and a button brad from Making Memories.
Not sure what I’ll do with this card…Breanna thought she looked like a “call” girl… EEK!
I don’t usually do that style!!! I’m thinking she’s headed for a Summer birthday party. lol

Copic Creations challenge No.11

September 1, 2009 Pam Sparks24 Comments

Doesn’t seem possible that it could be the first day of September already! yikes! oh well, I’ve been having fun coloring. This weeks challenge is sponsored by Mo’s Digital Pencil Too. I LOVE her images…so fun to color w/copic markers. Our challenge this week at CC is to use your favorite color combinations. There is a $20 prize waiting for a lucky participate at the end of challenge no.11!
To see all the other design team members creations, head over to Copic Creations challenge blog and visit their blogs to see the combinations they used. Mine aren’t necessarily my favorite colors! I just fell in love with Mo’s Cinderella image!
